When BKA say they don't even know whether or not SY and PJ have the same important case-breaking evidence they have, that is BS IMO. But it is necessary BS, a.k.a. obfuscation or blurring to protect a different part of this case's investigation IMO.

Wolters gives direct quotes to the BBC, ostensibly defending and justifying his own conduct but makes no plea for public assistance. So why is he doing this interview, other than to protect himself and smear the suspect further, despite offering no evidence?
Well we don't have the full interview to know what he was asked, or what else he might have said, but I'd guess these quotes were probably in response to the reporter querying a similar thing to you and others here i.e. - "why are you so sure CB is guilty/what evidence do you have/why haven't you charged him yet?"

I don't think HCW has really said anything too different here to what he has previously, albeit in slightly different words. The appeal is live and ongoing, no need to keep mentioning it every time he's asked a question (that's assuming of course he didn't mention it and it was just left out of the article).

In general though, I think HCWs tactic from the start was to make sure everyone knew this case was different to all the other suspects raised in the past (there's been a LOT). He wants everyone to know they have everything but the smoking gun to say CB is guilty. IMO he's done this so that the appeal would be taken more seriously by both the public and the media and to drive any potential witnesses to come forward.

Don't forget they spent 3 years on this case in secret before exhausting their leads and forcing them to turn to the wider population for help. CB would have encountered hundreds of people during his time in the Algarve, yet I expect only a fraction of them have ever been questioned. It may only take one person who knew CB, or knew about him, or someone he associated with, or where he lived, or where he went/what he did around these dates, to give LE that final piece of the puzzle.

A useful photo which illustrates the relative positions of the two bedrooms. The photo (early hours 4th May) was taken from inside the parents' bedroom. The policeman we see in the background is standing a little inside the children's bedroom.

New to the forum but have been reading up the last few months after
finding this site . Such a wealth of information and potential leads .
It’s a shame that the interesting investigative work by Sextas 9 and Spiegel as well as the new information put forward by the BKA could not
reach a larger European audience particularly the nationals that visit the Algarve . It’s highly likely CB and his many aquatances have been seen or
spoken to by European holidaymakers/ festival goers / people buying hash etc. I’m very grateful to the Portuguese and German nationals who have painstakingly translated the various media releases and listed them here. Personally I think the Netflix documentary team should make a
another episode highlighting all this info and therefore reaching a wider
audience in the hope it may be enough to push this case over the line .

How does an article on the BBC smoke anyone out?

Are the key people in the UK?
As I said, IMO that is the BBC looking for dead cat distractions from imminent economic disasters rather than specifically from HCW. The BBC asked he gave the answer as it stands.

Just to demonstrate correlation of photos/videos/statements.
Insert: Text from KM statement stating toy was still on bed.
Insert: PJ crimescene photos showing toy still on bed.
Insert: video still of Eddie not alerting in the child's bedroom.
Insert: video stills (x4) of Eddie in the RdF villa not alerting to the toy (four times).
Conclusions IMO: KM is telling the truth, Eddie is consistent, and when the child left the children's bedroom the toy remained on the bed.

I’m fully in agreement with what you’re saying .Kind of weird ..., a public announcement ....if you knew what I knew kind of thing .

Agree. A quite extraordinary way to conduct a serious police investigation imo.

IMO this is more than seeking confirming evidence for a fully solved crime. IMO HCW is probably genuinely missing a piece of the puzzle. In other words although he knows who did it, and how, there is a significant portion (possibly the last portion) of the sequence which he simply has not solved yet, IMO. ???

I would assume, that strategy is based on the fact, that they know what concrete part of evidence they need, that it exists, and they need that special person to come forward. Obviously an english-speaking person.

Maybe they do not raise the pressure on CB, but that one special person....

Considering the amount of time HCW spends chattering away to The Sun and other UK media sources, filling them in on his progress and his plans (before he fills other crucial police forces in about them ;) ), maybe they are?

Maybe that's what FF was alluding to when he talked of (British) people falling off their chairs when/if the denouement finally comes?

Maybe somebody from the tapas group, excluding the MC's?! Or someone, that has been ruled out before? I've read, that RM's and JT's DNA should have been found at an appartment in Burgau? Is that a legend or confirmed?

I've read it in other blogs, so i won't post that in here. There has been written also, that RM and JT were some kind of related or knew each other from the past in Exeter???

Unfortunately, there's no new useful info to highlight.

All a new episode could document is endless footage of HCW on a loop saying, to a variety of media sources over the best part of the last year, that while he's absolutely confident that CB is his 'MM' man, he can't, nevertheless, say what it is he has to back that allegation up, or what it is he needs in order to charge CB, while also saying at every turn he may never have the evidence he needs to charge CB.

A 5-min 'documentary', at absolute best.

ETA. Hello and welcome!

Right! I mentioned that either. To me, i would think that HCW could charge somebody already, but his aim is to charge as much as possible. I would assume, that the big new clue isn't just the MM-link. JMO

3 months later, Eddie alerted in this room.

Thanks for the welcome . I think there’s loads of potential information to
be screened , what HCW has said is a fraction of the
info that’s come from the Spiegel and Sextas 9 releases as
well as Sky News or delve through transcriptions of these within
the 21 separate threads.

A good reference point is the Olive Press for a general
idea of what could be helpful information. There has also
been excavations and house searches in Germany.

You searched for Brueckner - Olive Press News Spain

There is a lot of information that is not widely known enough imo.It deserves a wider audience than it currently has .CB has many people in his circle that not everyone knows about.
I am very aware of the case but people on here regularly provide interesting info from other European media sources that you just wouldnt know
about in the UK without coming on here or reading an online Spanish Paper (Olive Press )

Aussie interviewer: Do you have evidence CB was in the apartment?
HCW: I have an answer but I'm not going to tell you because it might prompt lots more questions.

Taking into account what CB described in the chatroom and considering his obsession with child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and documenting abuse.
I presume the evidence BKA have, as I've suggested before, is pretty gruesome, leading them to assume MM would not have survived what could have been recorded.
Perhaps CB has shared pics of MM online with paedo's?
Could BKA be waiting for one to 'break ranks' and come forward with more conversations, pics they may have of MM? Or a missing pic that is so rare and valuable in the sequence of (recorded) events, that may be the evidence they need?

JMO

I'm not in the UK but I'm a regular reader of the Olive Press and kudos to them for their dedication to this.

I'm not for one minute discounting or dismissing them, all I'm saying is that I don't believe MM is remotely at the centre of the German investigation, despite HCW's insistence to the contrary.

I think they're using MM as a hat to hang their need to nail CB on.

I hope for the sake of this investigation - one that, imo, has thrown serious moral and professional caution to the wind - ends up with an actual concrete, 100% credible criminal charge for something as far as CB is concerned.

Because for it not to would be appalling.

The question was not time-specific.
Both an affirmative or a negative answer would prompt more questions imo so credit to HCW for being deliberately evasive.
