Majority of pedophiles will be everywhere even among you and your friends, looking from now and then to some little children and finding them cute, yet you will never know they have some sort of pedophilic tendency as many will have family and will not be "exclusives". Also the majority will not abuse/have sex/mess with children so you will never even know they are what they are.
If that it's uncomfortable to you it's reasonable but it's the truth.

Sorry but IMO any person that has sexual feelings looking at a little baby/child are sick! and how do they get there kicks ? yes by watching movies of kids or looking at photos !! so this makes them as guilty as the physical abusers!

Guys, anybody else think there might be a link between CB and that Eucledes guy who died in a “freak” tractor accident? Would totally be logical. Eucledes provided CB with info/keys to the apartment thinking it was for a robbery , but once he found out what happened had to keep quiet so as to not be accessory to murder. Finally just offed himself. He lived not too far from CB, both were into drugs.

Oh, and finally to close the “dog” question. What is the failure rate on these dogs who “don’t lie”. Could it be that UK dogs are not used to a smell “palette” in a foreign country and are more easily confused? Could dead rodents or creepy-crawlers throw them off?

Even if bodies are never found, then there must be some rational explanation as to why.
Children don't just 'disappear' off the face of the earth like magic........do they?

Well there have been a few, that we know and discuss on here, it's just crazy, to vanish in to thin air, but there are definitely people that know what happened

Oh, and finally to close the “dog” question. What is the failure rate on these dogs who “don’t lie”. Could it be that UK dogs are not used to a smell “palette” in a foreign country and are more easily confused? Could dead rodents or creepy-crawlers throw them off?

I'd imagine the rodents in Portugal smell the same as rodents anywhere. The dogs are trained to alert to specific smells: cadever and human blood in the case of the English dogs brought over. They aren't going to alert to other smells.

To me HCW aparently either have something "personal" against CB or he simply have something "personal" to want to go so far as he can to solve the MM case (like afinity for the Mccanns, etc). If tabloid reports are correct HCW is somewhat "obcessed" over the MM case. It can be an issue with the tabloids itself over exposing the statments of HCW but i don't thinks so. I can't blame him at all as he reminds me of someone that i know... but then again he might be "blind" by his believes, waiting to see if he can charge CB on 2021. Aparently they don't even have enough to secure a warrant. In PT if you have strong leads a court might issue a warrent to further investigate a suspect even if they end up not having enough for a charge or find the suspect guilty. If they say on the media that they don't have enough to secure a warrant this is not looking good to secure an arrest over MM case even if they have ways to end up incriminating CB over the other 3 crimes allegadly done in Portugal by CB.
Also so far the crimes that CB have been found guilty of did place him him in jail for small periods of time. The "biggest" one was the rape of the old lady but for the "abuses" of the 5yo child he did get very short sentence/time in jail... Meaning type of abuse was not as severe as "rape" as that would make him rot in jail for at least more 7 or more years. Would he go so far as killing a little girl ? Maybe yes, in certain circumstances, like if a child were to resist abuse and he didn't have other choice. Maybe yes, he did enter the apartment to steal and end up having to deal with MM. Yet I still can't picture him as a mass-child-killer/serial killer/multiple child killer as for example Ney. And I do think that all of this "pressure" that HCW is making over CB is not "natural" either. It's kind of "personal" like HCW does hate him very badly. Maybe because he does know for fact that he did kill MM and migh get away with it but my gut feeling tells me that there is something way more to it...

What I mean is: the car was inspected by the noses of the UK dogs (not by a mechanic). I will try to find the accurate dates.
ETA. PJ took possession of Scenic on 06 Aug, it was inspected by the UK dogs on 06 and early hours 07 Aug, (and was returned to the family I assume on 07 Aug?)

Red, could you tell me whether this is correct:
- May 27; GM hired the scenic. Registered km: 3114.
- June 3rd; GM prolonged the contract. Registered km: 3864. That makes 750 km in a week time.

- July 3rd; GM prolonged again. Registered km: 5864. That makes 2000 km driving in a month time.

- PJ took possession of the scenic on(?) August 2nd. Registered km: 5865
- August 2nd; Registered km: 5865
- 06+07 August; UK dogs
- 1st Sep; registered km: 5866. That makes 1 km in a month time (!) For how long did the car remain impounded?

- 1st Sep; registered km: 5866.
- 23rd Sep; registered km: 14443. That makes more than 8500(!) km in three weeks time!

When CB is ruled out of something it's always the detectives/investigators of those crimes saying they ruled out CB.

Why doesn't HCW go to the press on those ocasions and say that CB after all was ruled ou on this or that matter ?...

Because is hasn't been HCW to link CB to Claudia Ruf.

Back home we have two kinds of dogs working airports - drugs and food.

The handlers lead them specially to bags/people they want to check, and encourage the dog to make multiple attempts.

The dog does not alert unless it hits on something. A huge amount of work goes into training them. It would be pointless if they gave false alerts based on cues from the handler.
