This was 2014 when they did not have the information about CB that BKA has. If HCW brings CB to court we don't know what will happen with the dog alerts. I however doubt it since from what HCW has been saying, that we don't know the exact day that MM was killed(IMO this means either late on the 3rd or early on the 4th of May) I don't think they are moving to the direction of death in the apartment.
Yes, HCW saying he does not know the date, is puzzling IMO. I agree with your narrow interpretation (late 3rd or early 4th).

That's still ambiguous though, isn't it? It doesn't at all rule out an abduction prior to the above scenario. Particularly when you combine it with his 'we don't know the exact day MM was killed'.

In short, the above implicitly implies abduction and taking MM to 'elsewhere' before killing her.

No wonder we're lost in space trying to make sense of things.

Agree.
Thanks to tight lipped HCW we don't know much.
Still making the most of 'lockdown' thrashing it all out on here though!

SY are treating this case as a missing person...which suggests what they think of the alerts
But notice which type of specialist dogs OG imported from Wales to search multiple sites in PdL.

What other options did OG have?

What other options did OG have?

I would rather ask what 'motivated' OG to take a team of victim recovery dogs to that area of PDL in 2014?
Surely they didn't just go on a whim.

That was because of the time elapsed. To detect the scent of a living person the dogs should have been deployed within one week of the disappearance.

I didn't mean you personally.
Well.... in an implicit way you did! But I take no issue at that. We need to find out whether the dog alerts are credible or not. And from what appears up to now they are not always that credible to prove that there was a dead person in 5a.

If I had been more explicit you wouldn't have taken it personally.
A more explicit explanation would not have been suitable for this thread.
So I stand by my assertion when I say it wasn't aimed at you.

I've just seen this, and has CB been excluded from investigation on this or not, and how old have we said the motor home was?

A naval investigator who was investigating the death of the 16-year-old German girl Carola Titze, got a hunch when he watched a broadcast on France 2 about Marc Dutroux. The man recognized in the images about the excavations at Dutroux a mobile home of the murderer, which strongly resembles a mobile home that he saw in De Haan at the time.

The body of Carola Titze, badly damaged and in a distant state of decomposition, was found in De Haan on 11 July 1996. Her killer was never arrested, the motive is still guesswork. During the Dutroux report, the man recognized a mobile home.

"It was the same vehicle. A large American one, in brown and beige. But I can no longer say whether it is the same mobile home as the one I saw in the Dutroux broadcast," says the anonymous investigator in La Dernière Heure today.

An and Eefje
"I have always wondered why they did not try to make a connection at the time between the disappearance of An and Eefje and the murder of Carola," the man continues. "I still remember the mobile home in De Haan very well. Not the kind of mobile home that you find on every corner of the street."

Haha no worries. Regardless I am not sure we can use the dogs to say anything meaningful about CB.

Agree.
I'm not sure either.

Wouldn't bet on that...

But i would bet on that.

Dark web child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 bust leads to 338 arrests worldwide

That could explain the unusal secrecy. It's not about jeopardising the MM-investigation but every investigation, that goes beyond the MM-case IMO....

IMO the suspect has been a "producer" for the darkweb market. The smallest part of the "food chain".

Rape, zoophilia, child-🤬🤬🤬🤬, snuff! Everything that is useful to make money at the market.

So you may know, why he has the best lawyers. He has no money to pay them by himself....

JMO!!!

I always found it odd that CB 'only' had a Bible and a business card of his lawyer on him at time of his arrest in Milan 2018.
Madeleine McCann suspect 'walked into police trap dirty and unshaven with bible'

There is of course another explanation - that CB didn't remove the body. He left it there.

I know that seems wild - but it does explain all the known evidence.

Or the dogs were mistaken.
Interesting.
A hypothetical variation is: panic, conceal, depart(possibly to move a vehicle closer??), return, remove.
