Madeleine McCann: German prisoner identified as suspect - #24

I'm Portuguese and I think it's shameful for PJ to realize what they did not do, how they failed in handling the case from the beginning and how the case can be now solved by other police force, 14 years later.

Unfortunately it will not be a suprise if they are still crystallized in the pathetic GA theories and "believing" CB is not the man. Unfortunately it will not be a suprise if they insist, presumptuously and spitefully, that they do not and will not cooperate. Unless BKA opens the game and share the evidences. But will they help in speeding up the process?! Will they still not want to take the final honours? Or discredit the German pieces?!

I want to be wrong and believe there will be no more obstacles to the investigation and final outcome.

It's all a bit more complex though - and depends on what PJ is asked to do.

For instance, if it is more searches, cause for warrants etc is needed, which means they need to be provided with at least some intelligence. That is not unreasonable, and is legally important.

For german police to come over in an operational role, after the Redwood fiasco, there is no way PJ will agree to do that without some reasonable basis.

None of this should be surprising. BKA can't go searching around Germany without cause either. There is oversight.

From the legal point of view of Portugal, this case was archived with no clear evidence of a crime having been committed, or if one was, no specificity of which crime. Even the original summary held out the possibility of death by accident (i.e not a crime).

So I guess it should come as no great surprise that PJ would require either some specific intel to justify resource and on ground searches, or some other information on the nature of offending.

What I think they won't do, is go on a fishing expedition to find that evidence based on a mere theory.

FOR ME This is fake news almost for sure.

British tabs often do 'retread' articles where they publish as if it is a new story, but all the content in the story was already published before. It's a cheap way to traffic content.

I do wonder if emotions are the driver here. If it’s CB then very unlikely MM is alive… and they are still hopeful of finding her alive, which I empathise with

I still think we are missing something fundamental here.

Why isn't HCW, with the help of the Met, using the parent's strong media power to help gather info? It's just an obvious step. None of this has ever made sense to me, but i can't begin to imagine what I am missing.

I keep coming back to a thought experiment - not that I think it's correct, but because there might be some value in it as a process.

What if this is all a hall of mirrors / fog of war type situation, and all 3 police forces are correct about aspects of the case, but for the wrong reasons? i.e.

PJ was correct that the Tapas' version is nonsense (Lisbon testimony)
Redwood is correct about Tannerman, Smithman. and the later timing (raising lots of questions!)
HCW is correct that CB did it.

In that scenario, a media target might be someone in that Tapas' circle.

Not sure if this name has been mentioned before as the 2017 witness that CB apparently confessed to. Thx to @BIZCOCHO for this info.

"He became a suspect in the Maddie McCann case in 2017, when he confessed to D.R. (full name in article), a Portuguese friend, on the 10th anniversary of Maddie's disappearance, that he knew everything that had happened. R. immediately informed the police, but there was a lack of evidence to arrest him. The British metropolitan police were informed and an investigation began with the German and Portuguese police, who had initially investigated and ruled out Bruckner among 600 'persons of interest'"

Although living in the UK since 2015 D.R. was in Lagos in 2017.

Great find, I didn't know of him, so that then could be who they want to take to Portugal to retrace places etc that CB frequented etc etc

So would that of been part of the bar confession?

Here is the thought experiment flipped.

What if HCW has intel (e.g confession) of exactly how the crime went down, something only the killer could know, but that confession contradicts critical elements of the tapas' timeline?

I have always been led to believe by media reports that the 2017 confession took place in a German Bar whilst watching German TV programme about case. CB reportedly returned to Portugal the following month (June 2017). I wonder which is the correct version?

Agree. But apart from legal and operational aspects, I was commenting more on the PJ's antecipated lethargy that seems to emanate from what is heard by ex-officers/related people in their brief TV appearances here.
They all seem to discredit BKA's story and potential evidences keeping the suspicious, ridiculous and bizarre narrative on parents. Many doubts if they will even be really cooperative when required. Honestly, hope to be wrong.

That's new and IMO interesting:

https://wochenblatt.cc/mutmassliche...rkes-zudem-deutscher-aus-concepcion-gehoerte/

"According to Police Commissioner Nimio Cardozo, of the anti-kidnapping unit, Paraguay helped with the investigation into finding Madeleine McCann. The alleged Madeleine McCann killer was part of the Boystown pedophile network.

In Paraguay, key items and big data have been seized from an international pedophile network believed to be behind the likely death of the girl who has been wanted since 2007.

The suspected murderer of the British girl, Christian Brückner, is said to have been part of the pedophile network, which was administered by, among others, Christian Manfred Kruse, who was arrested a month ago on the banks of the Rio Ypané in Belén, Concepción and charged with child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

The anti-kidnapping unit chief confirmed that he spoke to various agencies yesterday, including speaking to prosecutor Irma Llano, "and there are elements, we believe, that Paraguayan security agencies are using one way or another to resolve Madeleine McCann's case could contribute. ”However, more precise statements could only be made if the German authorities allow this."

I always assumed, that there could be a link to the many busted paedo-darweb-networks in the past.

Bingo! I forgot to mention that he DJ'd in Lagos and the Algarve.

I think the name is an alias. I can't link it but a search with his name and Lagos as location on FB will put you on the right track. From there it shouldn't be too difficult to work out his real name.

He also DJ'd at Blackjack Nightclub in 2009 which belongs to Vilamoura Casino. This was however 3 years after CB was known to have visited the casino there, so maybe irrelevant.

I think what people may not get, is all the witness statements, are just that statements, and that no one has actually been on trial, and therefore all the statements may not be totally accurate, if you get me, if anyone has been to court?

Villamoura Casino: That’s where NF worked as exotic dancer. hence the wigs found in CB’s farm house in PDL. I thought about the large international network. By the way I read years ago ( I think a peer-reviewed journal or major psychology journal (I need to find it) that psychologist are working on rehabilitating pedos. and working on a plan to integrate them in society, etc.
More busts are coming I believe.

And this is the Casino where CB had membership. It also was in the vicinity where HB had been raped and tortured? Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes, that's definitely a stage name, he's a Diogo (an o not e) C. With a sad irony, his birthday is also May 3rd...
