It’s a badly written article, but it puts light on new info. Why is DF talking now? His memory is that bad? I don’t think anyone would forget to tell the LE about this land. Why now? He insisted before that his daughter was not his girlfriend. Now, DF says they had phone conversations “regularly “. That’s is a hint IMO. I still think that NF helped CB. Maybe even in disposing of her body. I remember reading in the PJ files about the woman in the grey Audi passing a bundled “thing” to a man in the middle of road or highway. Was that NF? It’s possible in my opinion. Didn’t they find a set up video camera with kids toys in one the kids rooms in her Foral villa? IMO, HCW does not want to give up details about how and what CB did, but he knows. He will surprise us with the shocking details soon.
The best work is done with discretion.
Also, there may be many other people and witnesses involved, so discretion is clue.
Each article I read about MM since HCW’s press release of 2020 insists that CB did it alone. Reading behind the words: CB did the killing alone, and HCW is only dealing with facts. He never talked about kidnapping. it’s not because it didn’t happen, but because he has no proof. even if he knows (and has proof) that others helped CB take MM, no one killed MM but CB. Only if CB proves otherwise, he is guilty. IMO, HCW must have photos and/or videos of MM with CB in them without his face showing. Maybe his hands or the birthmark on his thigh are showing; or, HCW draws on similarities to other photos with other victims.
LE already have permission to search the Villa Bianca area from the owner and considering its one of CB's first known locations after the disappearance and the fact that CB returned there in 2016 and was working in the grounds its a wonder why this hasn't happened yet. Maybe this new info from DF will make a search happen.
The article states that the plot was very close to Villa Bianca and the image suggests it could be the plot of bordering land to the south of the villa. The DM has included a Google Streetview image of the land to the the west of the villa in their version of the story, but that isn't/wasn't overgrown.
The disturbed spot possibly used as a dump site for the villa?

It may not be new, just info newly made public, and covid restrictions have hampered travel and searches etc, looking back on last year's info from df, when questioned, he said he was told the case is 90 % solved, that was over a year ago

I have wondered the same since I read this article yesterday.
It says: The secret compound is on land very close to the house where Nicole lived on the Algarve,...
So that secret compound was not necessarily located at the boundary of the Foral villa home(?)
An invisible, overgrown and fenced plot of 5,000 square metres.
Edited to add: I still wonder what the SY investigator/detective has been doing all those years living next door to NF!

The image in the article supposedly shows the area of interest and it does measure ca. 5000m2. It could of course be elsewhere nearby.

A closer look at what I thought could be a dump site. Some kind of man made compound is clearly visible with a structure/building. This could easily be the area that DF is referring to IMO.

If the report of the "scecret" compound turns out as true, isn't it a little bit odd, that DF remembered that just now?
Why is DF talking and not NF, who seemed to be in a much closer relationship to CB?
I'm not that sure, if the F-Family is that trustworthy. Maybe they know more than they admit. Is DF trying to protect his daughter? According to the reports about her foster mum skills and possible children hideouts in campervans, i would assume some kind of money making business more, than a real orphanage...?!
