According to the letter "w" in the complaint and the neuwegersleben graffiti, and the colour of the graffiti at the beginning of the video linked above, i would tend to think that CB was the "artist", who did of all that graffiti including the girlfriend-hate-graffiti.

So you have a proven convicted (paedo-)criminal, sadist, sex-offender, rapist who expresses himself in a rundown littered property, mostly alone on it, by doing graffities. But somebody that is able to do drawings, even of tidy prison cells, and neatly handwritten letters and kept a probably thorougly managed library on that piece of crap in neuwegersleben.

What does that tell about the constitution of the "artists" mind? Are we talking about some kind of split personality maybe?

A closer look at what I thought could be a dump site. Some kind of man made compound is clearly visible with a structure/building. This could easily be the area that DF is referring to IMO.

4 years later the compound/structure is no longer visible.

The compound could be anywhere near though...
Media chose "very close" instead of "next door". But who knows, perhaps that's all they know whilst the exact spot is being kept a secret.
This is a strange development, although it does fit CB to have a secret bunker stashed away somewhere.
Who knows, was he or Nicole or even her rich husband the owner of that plot of land? Or someone else?

Is Portugal at all known to have had WWII bunkers? Atlantic wall in the Algarve? Can't find any info.
Or is that NF-bunker a totally different kind of building?

No. Portugal was unoccupied by Axis powers.

Great spot with the w , that was the first thing that struck me from the letter was the neatness of the writing and drawing he did of his cell . For someone who is happy to live like a tramp for long periods of time you’d expect his articulacy to be just as shoddy. When that picture was published of him holding a small dog (with the promo girl in the background ? ) , I noticed how weathered and worked his hands looked whilst giving quite a smart appearance in most of the pics I’ve seen . I definitely think drink dramatically changes his personality and no doubt he does suffer with a split personality , you’ve only got to look at his sexual preferences and don’t get me started on the tow hitch the f’king weirdo .

Could be lost in translation??
Could be, but this news item also mentions the word Bunker in German:
Maddie-Verdächtiger hatte Zugang zu geheimem Anwesen in Portugal
maddie.webp

algarve-maddie-mccann.webp

The property is supposed to be this one, on the opposite side of the road that takes to the Foral restaurant:
Auf diesem Gelände in der Algarve soll sich ein geheimer Bunker befinden. - Google Maps
It's supposed to be the compound North of the house where Nicole used to live:

The Daily Mail also included a street view image with their article, I still think if anything the original article image location would be more accurate especially as there is a mysterious compound there.
Time will tell I hope.

They're 2 very different forms of expression. Graffiti by nature is bold and free, usually on a large 'canvas', letter-writing is much more confined and composed.

I'm not sure what point you're making?

many of us on WS were trying to figure out the person who wrote/did the graffiti. (You can read the old threads). It’s important because the message of the graffiti is also disturbing. “ My girlfriend taught to hate…”. I don’t speak german, but someone on WS translated it before.
On different topic, I think and I’m sure CB used the skills he learned in drafting classes when he was young and being trained as a mechanic. So, he must have learned how to draw in 3D and also most importantly to write and spell everything as it appears in print. His “h” and “w” look very interesting, feminine. I wonder if he had many female teachers when he was young, or maybe his adoptive mother was the most dominant in the home.

Perhaps the longest gap in posts since the thread began.

C’mon HCW, FF or CB give us some something to look at!

... and c’mon England, time for football to come home!

I cannot believe that anyone could believe that this German prisoner is a suspect! It's easy to accuse a man who is already in prison.

Fair enough, he's a known paedo, possessed copious amount of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬, rapes a pensioner as well as torture, and films it, convictions as long as your arm, but you are entitled to your opinion

Interesting ... many people serving time are turning up to be the perpatrators in old crimes as genealogical DNA testing spreads. So, actually VERY believeable that someone who is incarcerated could be the suspect in another crime (especially when said suspect crime victimology is children within his vicintiy).
