I asked not to be jumped on because I wondered about things other than what keeps on being repeated ..... but never mind ... the man is done for .
Apologies if I am mistaken, but you did the same (trying to find excuses about the arrested and then sentenced to life murderer, of course before he was found guilty for murder) in Libby's case. I understand your reluctance to jump on a bandwagon of accusing CB of this heinous crime before he has even been charged - and this would of course be true for other posters in here who want and rightly so to presume someone innocent before being found guilty - but trying to find miniscule details that could potentially cast doubt on what her parents have said is beyond comprehension. Thanks for this and I accept your opinion . However BP is classed as a chemical imbalance disorder now rather than a mental illness .

That's a 'theory' which is constantly debunked by Psychiatrists, a chemical imbalance is merely a mechanism - but you're welcome to label BD how you see fit, even though it was you who mentioned 'Bipolar Disorder' in the first place :)
I'll stick to clinical terms for clarity.

I was just saying .... heck ! Did you know the DWP tell claimants BP isn't a mental illness and call sufferers even with that written diagnosis from psychiatrists in for WCA ?

Going a bit off topic now I think, shall we just stick to CB? :)

It's often been hypothesized on here that if a video or pics exist of (horrific) abuse of MM, the only conclusion is that death must have resulted from what happened to her.

JMO

I think that HCW said something along those lines - if you knew what we know you would also draw the conclusion that she is dead.

Eta found it:
If you knew the evidence we had you would come to the same conclusion as I do,” Mr Wolters told the BBC. “I can't promise, I can't guarantee that we have enough to bring a charge but I'm very confident because what we have so far doesn't allow any other conclusion at all.

Madeleine McCann: Public 'would reach same conclusion' on suspect

Are you talking about disability benefits here? Because if you are it's not the condition that one has - but how they are affected in their daily lives - but this is completely off topic!!

It's time for some 'Mindfulness'........;)

Makes me smile -we always do have a bit of a bicker when there's not much going on - Happy Days :)

I think some members are getting carried away by imagining what HCW has .

Absolutely true! But that is what we are doing in this forum - sleuth ... we have to go with what we have. Would you ever have imagined that a partial fingerprint found on a knife from HB's flat would be a match with CB's?! And that the BKA managed to match it after almost 17 years?!

True! I think I'll quit for tonight .
Best for the New Year everybody but not for some ... CB for sure .

Naah, not carried away at all. Simply comparing to CB's modus operandi.

Carried away would be CB flying to the moon with MM or looking after her as he was desperate to be a wonderful, caring Daddy.

I feel horrible for saying this but this made me chuckle...

I completely agree. I think some were under the false impression that because the case went unsolved for so long, It would have had a complicated answer. IMO The reality is very simple, horrifying but not at all complicated. Ironically the simplicity seems to be confusing to the rowdy twitter clan!
CB did try to leave as little trace as possible, but he left at traces at Diane’s house & according to reports left a fingerprint mark at Hazel’s apartment. 5a was majorly compromised, so the opportunity for forensics was slim to none.
CB kept videos of himself committing crimes & bragged about them whilst drunk.IMO it’s no wonder he’s had 18 conviction & is heavily linked to these major PJ unsolved cases.
This case was always going to have a simple answer. Which IMO, is that the predatory child molester & rapist who was standing outside 5a, broke in, abducted MM & sadly because of what he did she’s no longer with us
Exactly. Unlike what Hollywood tells us - 99.9% of crime is dead simple.

Although his unstable and errant profile, CB has been "practicing" his crimes with some level of planning and detail.
In any case, it's unbelievable the number of cases he was involved (and others that we may even do not know about) without getting caught or the endless time it took for him to be charged.

Assuming the most likely scenario that CB also did it (MM), it's even more unthinkable and
infinitely humiliating (for PJ) how can this case (happened in Praia da Luz!) still not be solved.
An irreparable nonsense.
(No) security, prevention, action/correction in that Algarve (PdL) in 2007...what a shame.

In my opinion, BKA is on the right track!;)

I think some members are getting carried away by imagining what HCW has .

Personally I think he has a lot less than imagined, hence the lack of charges and constant drips to low quality media to justify his actions.

I'll wager especially there is no video of MM alive outside of 5A - otherwise the parents would have been briefed. It is simply unimaginable to me that this would not have occured.

Of course others hold the opposite view.

What are you talking about? He’s been in and out of jail his whole life. He’s a lousy criminal. Got caught for stealing diesel.
Yet we're led to beleive he's a master criminal who has evaded all in pursuit of the truth into Madeleine's disappearance, really !

If only to rule him out. Some put credence on a supposed phone call up to 2 hrs before the report of a missing child, yet nothing afterwards ?
