It's not about CB though, it's about the way in which this investigation is being conducted. HCW - the chief prosecutor - invited the court of tabloid opinion to find CB guilty of MM's murder back in June 2020 without, to this day, a single piece of evidence that gives value or weight to that charge. That for me is hugely problematic since it's such a breach of good practice in civilised law.

CB being a rotten human being is no excuse for deciding that civilised law shouldn't apply in his case.
This is an unprecedented case. If CB'' s lawyer has something to say against the BKA I think he would have already done that _instead he is leaving his client on his own when Portuguese and German investigators questioned him because it was far and he just couldn' t be bothered. He is also only complaining at times that he hasn't seen the files. I reiterate that this is an unprecedented case and the means and methodology used accompany the difficulty of solving the case and bringing CB to court. I have no problem whatsoever

Oh for goodness sake.

I'm sure BKA has a complaints page somewhere on their website, why not send them an email outlining how you feel, instead of airing a grievance on here?

Originally in JC's article, NF said that CB drove from Tomar to Foral on the night of May 3.
In the latest Podcast JC seems to have reversed that journey i.e. CB drove to Tomar.
I wonder whether if Cb could have swapped vehicles at Foral after being in PDL and left the VW at NF's house, then drove to Tomar in the Winnebago with MM?
Did NF 'reverse' this journey in her statement?

JMO.

I subscribe to everything you said ...

Furtuneatly, in germany only a court is allowed to evaluate possible evidence and reach a conclusion. Not you!

No offence!

I do not understand it as well.

If the investigations got stuck on a particular point, no need to do an interview and confirm it, especially in this case with it's attention from the media.

If the investigations are going on successfully, no need to do an interview and confirm it, especially in this case with it's attention from the media because every journalist would ask, what they have.

So....some kind of enigma to me.

Agreed. Makes no sense.

The PJ were provided with a pair of the same style pyjamas back in 2007. To find fibres which are identical to those used in manufacturing that particular product would be circumstantial, not forensic evidence imo. It is only the polyester in the pyjamas which would have shed naturally, unless they were damaged in some way.

Forensic evidence is circumstantial evidence IIRC

I do wonder how you would prove that fibres came from particular clothing that you don't have. Maybe they have the same fibres from 5A? e.g the bed?

The sheets maybe, as i assumed earlier. But it's still forensics in every country in the world.

they have the fibres from a similar pj set sent by M&S. They analysed it and have kept the pjs and the analysis in Portugal - see my comment #46.

Unless the germans agreed to take the spotlike on them, so others could keep on working unattended?

but why are we discussing fibres? most possibly they do not have fibres. vestigios is the word used in Portuguese- traces of MM. SF talked about 'something belonging to MM', and most 'secure' MSM have talked about an 'item' of MM.

@ 11.43 Ep8 JC says.....

'If he did take her that night and drove to this town called Tomar, where I'm going later this week, who knows......'

The face belonging to her, pictured in a yellow white campervan, could be something? ;)

But, and that is the question, would it proof a murder, or in the baddest case just an abduction, that is likely to be kept as an SoL status, because no body has been found yet?

CB's questions to Jutta R. seem to be pretty expedient, IMO....

Yes..interesting...though sounds like just a speculation , or a sort of question , from JC ...hard to tell if that's based on anything more solid than that..
Unless any other related info ...?

well, they must have something else though. HCW avoids talking about abduction - his stance is that CB killed her, so he must have something that ties CB to her murder but not explicitly to her abduction
