But HCW is the one feeding the tabloids! It's down to him to direct that attention towards other areas of his and the BKA's investigation into CB. That's his job, not ours.
HCW is the "spokesman" for the investigation and the media liason. Whatever you may think about his approach, his job is to speak to the media (all the media) so saying "no comment" to everything is unlikely to be what they are after. He hasn't deliberately misled anyone IMO, at most he is a little guilty of naivety when it comes to the tabloids, certain interviewers and heavy editing. But the blame still most definitely lies with the Press when they are running stories off the back of things he hasn't said.

Oh crikey, she's not done yet.....

Watch the second part of the SATURDAY Investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann on CMTV, this Friday, May 6th.

Portuguese authorities do not believe that Christian Bruckner acted alone in the Madeleine McCann case. In the second part of the exclusive interview given by the German Prosecutor to the SÁBADO Investigation , we will find out all the answers that Hans Christian Wolters gives to this and other questions, such as, for example, if the English child was kidnapped to be sold, in a crime that ran evil and ended in murder. To see tomorrow, Friday, on CMTV, at 21 pm.

That's on him, not us.

He has a huge platform. He's not using it for good imo.

What are you insinuating?

CB will soon be charged or at least have access to 4 more case files against him. HCW and the BKA are doing everything they can in such difficult and unprecedented cases to bring the culprit to justice.

SF is not a tabloid. She is one of the most prominent investigative journalists in Portugal whether we like it or not.

And I would still keep on asking why the chief prosecutor in such a high profile case would agree to be interviewed again and again by someone with SF's history.
Probably because she is the only one to have asked him for an interview, not only, she is the only Portuguese reporter to ask him for an interview.
The only other interviews with HCW have been led by German reporter(s).
No British reporter has asked him yet. Not on TV.

To be fair, SF has followed this case since the beginning, rather like JC they both know the case inside out.
Having someone on the ground in Portugal, with so much knowledge is useful IMO.

It's usual in germany to inform the suspect about the intention to charge for a particular crime. The suspect, or his/her solicitor if there is one, get's the possibility to comment on that in a particular timespan. Then the prosecutors decide, if they charge or don't.

Of course, every suspect will get a subpoena, before all of this. If a suspect is being under the support of a solicitor, the solicitor will always give the advice to remain silent, until he has granted access to the files, that build up the case.

So yes, CB should have gotten the "offer" of being interrogated. But FF should have replied, that his client will refer to his right to remain silent, until getting access to the files.

That's it.
Thank you. That’s very informative

From the short video clip in that link you can easily make a prediction what story the tabloids will be running next to replace the fibres one.

Too much coincidence with a burglar six months after in Praia da Galé in Albufeira?! What similiarities could be?! The same old story (CB and NF) already reported in Sexta às 9?! Going in circles...

I love it! Let's bring NF back to the guessing and speculation game!

Hi all , been off for a bit, just catching up, saw the info re the fibres, have they said where in the van these were found?, that pic still irks me if any one remembers it of the vw by the beach, i know it's unlikely but an odd pic of the van in an odd location, it really looks like there's a child in the back, well that's what I thought anyway , now I'm not sure I need to go find it and have another look

-thread #8
I can post it I don't know if that's allowed im a bit rusty as to rules
Welcome back!

The photo I keep thinking of is the one of CB at night in front of the van with his 3 finger salute, gives me the creeps

Have seen a snippet of info relating to SF TV programme from today that indicates SF believes NF knew some of childminding staff from OC , which would of course be interesting if true .
