In regard to no evidence of the bed being stepped on, in the case of the Irish lady she said the perpetrator left his shoes at the door and put them back on as he was leaving. A possibility that he went in without shoes or took them off at some point, therefor leaving no trace of footprints on the bed near the window?

If it was two people; they were either never around the Ocean Club before, or they (or one) was seen by one of the many witnesses who came forward.. such as JJ.
Then you'd have to think whether it was planned by two perps on their own or as part of a wider network.
Wider network - more careful planning? imo

I agree - so there would have been a window of 30 mins? After the MO check and before KM - Plenty of time then.

after the MO check there was an unknown factor for an abductor - apt5d was occupied by RO'B and he could leave at any time.
i prefer the approx. 10 minutes when all tapas 9 members were eating starters. 10 minutes is still a huge amount of time to take a sleeping child and pass her out of a bedroom window.

From looking at the photo's of the room it may not have been necessary to have stood on the bed at all.

after tanner returned from her first check [approx 21:20]. and before RO'B and Oldfield left for their check at approx 21:30.
eating the starters is a safe bet that no-one is leaving the table. as i said earlier in the thread.

This is an older article from 2016 - but just look at all the possible sightings of this kid!! I hadn't realized there were so many, and so many that were investigated but ruled out! Even worse, several where the sighting couldn't be traced as police couldn't find the person in question!

yes, that is what i remember reading about the beach parties.

Although interesting, I discount GM 'sensing' someone behind the bedroom door. It wasn't in his statements at the time. We can psychologically convince ourselves of many things after the event, if it fits our own narrative of what may have happened.

I think that applies also to some of the other potential witnesses' sightings. The contemporary ones of someone very like CB are more interesting bc they go against the Portugese investigation focus, so seem more reliable to me.

But if the second person was an employee of the resort it would be the perfect cover no one would think they were out of place if they were spotted around the resort,they almost might not even notice them,peole dont tend to take in every detail of their surroundings,even more so in such a relaxed atmosphere, an employee is the perfect accomplice.
