Thinking of the McCanns. Imagine being told what they are being told but not having access to the evidence.

So it sounds like "another driver" was in fact AB. All in the translation I suppose.
Is it possible that AB could have flown to Portugal to pick up the Jag then driven it back to Germany, rather than CB driving?

This is from a German article - translation may not be perfect as it’s just auto translated on chrome but apparently the mirror was wrong -

"Unfortunately I can't tell you where the 'Mirror' got its information from, but it's not mine," explains Wolters. Although he had spoken to a newspaper reporter, he could assure him that he had not made such statements. We still have evidence-based evidence that the suspect killed Madeleine McCann. So this is not my private opinion, but the result of the previous investigation, "Wolters clarifies and adds:" However, we do not have forensic evidence of Maddie's death. "

Thanks....I posted this question before in #4...glad to see some reality here.

Just wondering...is the Daily Mirror a serious paper? Why would a German Prosecuter entrust all of this information "exclusively" to this paper? In the Netherlands we have a saying "Where smoke is, there is fire", but I'm not yet prepared to believe everything they write. Madeleine McCann could be alive admits German prosecutor who said she was dead

The whole idea of a subscription is that the content be paid for. Members can provide the link for others who may have a subscription, and can either use the short google hit summary or briefly paraphrase what the content refers to.

Just no direct quoting from the paywalled article itself. There are actually people who get paid to surf the net looking for infringements.

No, it's a dreadful paper unfortunately, one of the worst along with Daily Mail, Mirror, The Sun and many more.

It’s reported on uk telly that the police are sharing the reason for their not alive assertion privately with the McCann family. That means there is a strong case (reported as concrete), but not enough for convicting cb...

I want to see this case solved. I think that’s the only way of getting all these answers solved. A lot of strange stuff around this case, and yes I always thought the parents were involved when you examined what had happened. I’m happy to be wrong if it is the case.

also be careful with all the links to this guy. He’s clearly of interest, but the hysteria linking him to cases. He can’t possibly have done the lot! Some of these cases he was probably in that country for example!

with the guy about to fight to be released for a technicality, it suits to have him linked with as much bad stuff as possible. I just feel it’s serving a purpose to build up this huge danger man story...as no judge would release him knowing he is linked to numerous cases...

I found out already in so many cases.....thats why I'm very critical on what is quoted. I'm pretty sure the German prosecuter is not some kind of nitwit....

he absolutely couldve done the lot...i dont know why that's ruled out. he was in the vicinity, or couldve been, for each one of them.
the police dont just notify officially if they dont know. i think it used to be strange, but it all makes sense now-ish.
if CB has done them all, then it fits the timeline, his movements and his interests.

Sorry, still not sure what you are getting at. My point was whether the evidence the PJ described as significant, is the same evidence the Prosectuor is saying he cannot reveal. From the Telegraph article, it reads to me as thought the Prosecutor hasn't shared that evidence with with PJ or SY yet. IMO.
I thought that it had become a joint investigation. And besides that, I don't see why the the prosecutor wouldn't share it with the MET and SY, evidence always needs more links and back-up. imo

The manner in which ‘news’ about recent developments is being conveyed by the German prosecutors seems very strange to me. Announcements , qualifying those announcements etc...

Unless they have forensic evidence any trial would now appear prejudiced from the start , albeit they do not have juries in criminal trials in Germany.

Brueckner arrived at his house in Augsburg, near Munich, shortly after the three-year-old vanished.
Shortly after could mean days or weeks.

Retired Mr Bischof (right) was asked to help him by a mutual acquaintance – and Christian Brueckner (left) lived in his attic for two or three weeks at a time.
CB could have slipped back to PDL in between,

He said he had agreed to take on the registration of Brueckner's Jaguar XJR6. The car was registered to another driver the day after Maddie vanished
Another driver - that's important.

He said the detectives were 'fixated' on the Jaguar, which Brueckner had hitched up to his camper van and driven to north Germany/////SPACE/////// Mr Bischof also told the Mail that Brueckner returned from Portugal 'with expensive things'
This could have been 2 separate occasions.
Good points re what we know and what we don't know. There's gaps of weeks between events where it's possible that CB and whoever else, was moving from place to place.

Is there a chance they’re discussing “concrete evidence” so secretly because CB has access to online media? Are they actually just smoking him out?

Same as! Could there be any significance in the fact that the McCann's lawyer is going to Germany to see the evidence or is that just general security protocol? I suppose they couldn't just email a witness statement to him?

It's an update, again I can't see them providing too much. To be honest he probably only knows what he has read in the press until now.
