Yes - that sounds plausible. Perhaps that’s why he was originally ruled out until the phone data placed him at PDL.

But we know he was in PDL from phone records.

He could have just been making small talk with anyone while watching the apartments. The call ended at 8.02pm and I am sure I read that the Mcanns were the last to arrive at the dinner table at 8.30. Maybe at 8.02pm the other members of the party were starting to arrive at the table so he cut his call short to concentrate on who was present and from what apartment?
I think they were one of the first actually. David Payne and his family were the last to get there and that was close to 9 I believe.

RE- JAG

"However Mr Wolters confirmed it was in Germany by May 4, the day after Madeleine vanished, meaning it is unlikely that it could have been involved in the abduction."
RE-CB

AB - "He said the detectives were 'fixated' on the Jaguar, which Brueckner had hitched up to his camper van and driven to north Germany. Mr Bischof also told the Mail that Brueckner returned from Portugal 'with expensive things'."

if wolters is saying the jag could not be involved in the abduction.
and AB is saying the jag and CB arrived at the same time.
deduction: ...CB cannot be involved in the abduction!

wolters needs to change that statement, or must have new evidence from AB that the suspect did not arrive at the same time as the jag.

I don't consider that call strong evidence, as a lot of calls must have been done that day in the area and location is anywhere in a radius around PDL antenna.

But if they have non-forensic evidence MM is dead and that's connected to CB, then it becomes very strong evidence.

Kate and Gerry McCann ‘could be told within days how Madeleine died’ after German prosecutors share 'significant' evidence with Portuguese police

Kate and Gerry McCann 'could be told within days how Madeleine died' | Daily Mail Online

This is a repost of mine. Their words are here.
Sorry, still not sure what you are getting at. My point was whether the evidence the PJ described as significant, is the same evidence the Prosectuor is saying he cannot reveal. From the Telegraph article, it reads to me as thought the Prosecutor hasn't shared that evidence with with PJ or SY yet. IMO.

PDL to Braunschweig, Germany

Via A10 - 26 hours 40 mins - 1734.4 miles (show in km)
Via A10 and A4 - 27 hours 17 mins - 1775.4 miles
Via A5 - 27 hours 55 mins - 1770.4 miles

That's without stopping for fuel etc

But we know he was in PDL from phone records.
Apparently from one of the sources SY were alerted to the fact that his car was being reregistered in Germany while phone data suggested CB was in PDL.

He may have used the ‘selling a car’ as an alibi. Perhaps the PJ didn’t look too closely at the phone records if he suggested that he was in Germany. After all, at the time, he was not on the PJ’s sex offender list.
All IMO

There's no speed limit on Autobahns I think. So the jag could probably have covered the distance within 24 hrs. Not being towed of course.

I agree - they haven't shared it with either and for good reason imo

DLK, I can trust PJ and Mr Wolters as much as you do. PJ just announce they received evidence from Germany and Mr Wolters says he sent none. Something must be wrong here, then. I can't believe officials lying that way.

[EDIT]: or Mr Wolters, who is local authority, isn't aware what Federal authorities, the one in charge of foreign affairs, are doing... I don't know.

The article states he arrived in Germany shortly after the disappearance. That could mean a few days later. AB may have seen CB arrive towing the Jag, but he could have just picked that up on his way from somewhere else in Germany. I'm not sure AB was even the person he originally transferred it to. I didn't see that mentioned in the exclusive he did with the Mail.

Still have to get through Spain and France though

In Germany or in the north of Germany at his house? Did he say when CB arrived in his attic?

ETA He was introduced by a friend. Wondering if the friend phoned on the 4th or he actually saw CB on the 4th

AB had known CB for 10 years.

DLK you need not be in Germany to transfer car property.

Who says they sent none? They obviously have sent evidence, the question is whether they've been sent all the evidence including the bit the Prosecutor doesnt want to make public. It appears not IMO, but even what they have sent is pretty strong according to PJ.
