Didn’t they want to know who the 30 min phone call was with, so that they could confirm it was CB on his own phone in Pdl?
Who says they sent none? They obviously have sent evidence, the question is whether they've been sent all the evidence including the bit the Prosecutor doesnt want to make public. It appears not IMO, but even what they have sent is pretty strong according to PJ.
"Mr Bischof also said he agreed to take on the registration of Brueckner's Jaguar, which is at the centre of the police inquiry, as a 'favour'."The article states he arrived in Germany shortly after the disappearance. That could mean a few days later. AB may have seen CB arrive towing the Jag, but he could have just picked that up on his way from somewhere else in Germany. I'm not sure AB was even the person he originally transferred it to. I didn't see that mentioned in the exclusive he did with the Mail.

are you theorising that CB transferred the jag to someone else, and then this third party transferred the jag to AB a few days later?
No, but if you wanted an alibi, it would sound plausible you were with the car when it was sold.DLK you need not be in Germany to transfer car property.
RE-CB
AB - "He said the detectives were 'fixated' on the Jaguar, which Brueckner had hitched up to his camper van and driven to north Germany. Mr Bischof also told the Mail that Brueckner returned from Portugal 'with expensive things'."
if wolters is saying the jag could not be involved in the abduction.
and AB is saying the jag and CB arrived at the same time.
deduction: ...CB cannot be involved in the abduction!
wolters needs to change that statement, or must have new evidence from AB that the suspect did not arrive at the same time as the jag.
Yes, that's right. AB was the second person it was re-registered to"Mr Bischof also said he agreed to take on the registration of Brueckner's Jaguar, which is at the centre of the police inquiry, as a 'favour'."

I dont know how transfer of ownership works in Germany but is it possible that the 4th May is the day it was processed by the authorities there but that the paperwork may have been submitted days prior?
Yes, possibly. When the articles first came out about AB, they mentioned he had the car afterwards but never about anything that he was the person it was transferred to on the 4th."Mr Bischof also said he agreed to take on the registration of Brueckner's Jaguar, which is at the centre of the police inquiry, as a 'favour'."

Yes but assuming this buyer was an associate of CB (which we have to assume he was), he could testify that CB was also there in Germany. That would work as an alibi for buyer only, the only one requested to sign papers personally on registration (provided he didn't use an attorney).

Could this even be what the prosectuor meant by not showing CB what they have in case he tries to change his story? We know they called him in in 2013 over this case, what did they ask him, what did he say? For someone to change their story they have to give one in the first place. Is this perhaps the alibi he gave and now they can prove it was BS?
We haven't been told how they found out his phone number. I suspect it wasn't known until relatively recently. It was only when the German LE ran a crosscheck with the SY database of calls registered in PDL, the link was made.Apparently from one of the sources SY were alerted to the fact that his car was being reregistered in Germany while phone data suggested CB was in PDL.
He may have used the ‘selling a car’ as an alibi. Perhaps the PJ didn’t look too closely at the phone records if he suggested that he was in Germany. After all, at the time, he was not on the PJ’s sex offender list.
All IMO

Again, I think facts have been misconstrued. Reporters have picked up that AB had the car registered to him and just assumed it was him it was registered to on the 4th. When you read most other articles, it doesn't say that. The exclusive he did with the mail for example doesn't, it says it was registered to someone on the 4th, not him, which they surely would have said if he told them that. I suspect the person who was involved with it on the 4th is being kept under wraps by LE.I am even more confused about the location, timing and registration of the Jaguar after reading this article which states:
Detectives say the day after Madeleine’s disappearance, Brueckner re-registered the Jaguar on behalf of Alexander Bischof, who lives in Augsburg, Germany, despite the fact that the vehicle never left Portugal.

Can anyone provide links to confirm the following statements:
1- AB knew CB for 10 yrs prior to him living with him in 2007
2- That the car was registered in Germany on May 4th 2007 (and if so, did the car or CB have to be in Germany?) to AB(?)?
I think it is much more suspicious if the registration was changed while the car was in Portugal and if that happened on the day after MM's disappearance. But it is not clear to me that this is what happened. It is so sad to have such unreliable news stories able to be published with what seems to be no fact checking.
