There is no suggestion the German who bought Breuckner's camper van is in any way involved in disapperance of Madeleine.

Why would he have to be ruled out as a suspect?

"Halter" is the person that is registered for owning the car. It basically means that the suspect drove the car, although he was not the registered owner of the car. I think when they say that the owner of the car can be ruled out as a suspect, he has an alibi of some sort. I remember something about the owner in an interview where he said that the suspect called him one day after Maddies dissappereance and asked him to go to the car registration bureau and change the registration of the car. Otherwise Christian B. would not have been able to drive the car legally in Germany.

I think just in case people start reporting that he had the van. Also, this person (BP) used to allow CB to store the van on his land during his travels and was associated with CB. He even wrote a letter to the authorities in 2006 to try and help get CB out of prison on bail by saying he could come live with him.

30.000 suspects!That's a huge network! I did read this article yesterday in the newspaper and i am wondering if this is connected or the outcome of the research from the USB sticks of CB. LE in Germany have a lots of pedophile cases to handle at the moment.

location is a remote beach, not well signposted, not easy to find. not easy to access. it has camping, but is mainly used by surfers.
my take on that: not particularly family friendly location.

in the photo, it is sunny. and as previously mentioned, the waves are large. this describes surfing weather to me.

van is parked at the far end of the beach. is it a stretch to say... remote beach + surfers, fits well with someone wanting to sell drugs?

so, when are the surfing times within those dates. because if that VW camper was parked at the far end of the beach, it would be distinct. LE would clearly be asking local surfers, and holiday surfers for information. wouldn't they?

I’ve read reviews for this beach and most describe it as a “hippy beach”. It seems to be a pattern with CB to hit up known “hippy” areas to peddle drugs.

looking at the maps a more organised tarmac car park appeared at the end of this road between sept 2011 and nov 2012.
