here is the second section [of 4] of the timeline i have for CB.
thanks to all the WSleuths contributions that have helped to put this together.
i thought it would be a good exercise to test it. so feel free to add/edit/amend/debunk.
1995-2006

Portugal 1995: [CB age 18-19] CB passed driving test. Drives to Portugal with German gf to evade sentence. Lagos. Camping.
German ex-GF NF is from the same town Wurzburg.
Netherlands 1995: Missing: boy missing from Monster, The Netherlands in 1995; JaïrSoares (7) disappeared while he was playing on the beach.
G 1996: [CB age 19-20] Missing: 21 June; René Hasee, 6, from Elsdorf,
Germany, on holiday in Aljezur, Algarve. around 25 miles from Praia da Luz.
Belgium 1996: Murder: 5 July:
Belgium. German teenager on holiday in the Flemish resort of De Haan.
Carola Titze (16) went for a walk on the beach on 5 July never to return. body was found in sand dunes in De Haan, near Ostend, July 5, 1996.

Murder:
Tristan Brübach (3 October 1984 – 26 March 1998) was a 13-year-old
German boy who was murdered in the
Frankfurt suburb of
Höchst. His murder remains unsolved.

P 1999: arrested in portugal; minor theft; 2 months. served time in
Evora jail.
Evora is in mid-portugal.

The youngster vanished on her way home from school in May 2001 and her remains weren't discovered until July 2016, when mushroom pickers found human bones in a forest nine miles from Peggy's home in Lichtenberg, Bavaria. P 2004: [CB age 27-28] meets berkshire woman in Lagos. Englsh gf#1. both waiting tables in Lagos restaurant. Relationship less than a year. 2004-2005.
In Portugal, police face pressure to re-examine the case of
Joana Cipriano [8], who disappeared in 2004 from Figueira, seven miles from Praia da Luz. Her mother & uncle allegedly confessed to her killing but her mother has since said she was forced to admit to the crime by police who beat her. Joana has never been found.
P 2004: 16 june. Approx. 01:00. Rape:
Hazel Behan [20]; Praia da rocha [beach resort close to portimao]. 30 minutes drive from PdL. rape;
machete. he was in the bedroom when she woke. and called her name. man dressed in tights and leotard. Leather mask covering whole head. blonde hair. blue eyes. ‘pull’ in tights, birthmark or tattoo on right thigh. removed shoes at the door. set up

P 2005: [CB age 28-29] new years day; early hours; beats up English gf#1 in the toilets of the bar where she works. climbs into gfs flat and hides under the bed.
P 2005: mid 2005: CB first seen by gf with VW dirty mustard yellow, old, long VW (estate, possible=VW Variant) has this car at the time of MBM disappearance.

P: BP Connection - CB used BP's car yard to store his van at times (Daily Mirror).
P 2006: buys blue bedford van with Austrian friend Michael T in 2006. bedford has portuguese plates.
P 2006: Feb-April: CB and MT lived in the Bedford van between Feb and April 2006. Daily Mail source.
MT says he lives with CB at the Finca (farmhouse) and camped in a van in the garden, (possibly the Bedford).
P 2006: [arrested april 7th] [‘caught red handed’ according to MT]
on remand 8.5 months in portugal. trial December 21. released December 2006, stealing 320 litres of diesel from lorries. Michael T cellmate, co-criminal in the crime [MT fined €1800, CB fined a bit more than that because he swore at the judge]. MT is austrian carpenter.

Augsburg resident Alexander B has told how he befriended Maddie McCann suspect CB after being introduced by a mutual friend in around 2007 or 2008. {must have been 2006}
'He said he needed help and was looking for an apartment in Augsburg.
He was driving a Jaguar, which he bought from the mutual acquaintance. 'Because I'm also a Jaguar lover, we had a topic of conversation right away,' says AB.
He said CB was 'often underway - sometimes he travelled to Portugal, sometimes to Sylt, to Munich. In between, he spent nights sleeping in my attic.'

P 2006: Finca owner ‘states neighbours contacted him in 2006 to say the place was in a state of abandonment, he reported it to the police and found out CB may have been arrested.’
