It says that German national was arrested in Lagos after his home country issued a warrant for his arrest. He abused a minor within the family. The child confessed this to their school teacher.

I picked up the abuse of the minor relative as a separate incident. Three arrests from three separate incidents.

No, Zolex, they were two different men, two different abuse cases. In one case, a German in SBM was arrested by Faro police and extradited back to Germany for crimes committed there. In a separate incident, a man was arrested for raping a minor family member, in a joint operation by Vagos and Aveiro police.

And it’s just coincidence it seems. It’s a different German paedophile in SBM that was also extradited back to Germany for child sex abuse CB was extradited in 1999 and 2017, this article is from 2002.

I remember a reference to police finding images of children in a Portuguese park on one of his storage devices, I wonder was it the same park in SBM?
It’s not a place that’s been given much reference in MSM but maybe he spent more time there than we currently know? And with a “friend” who shared the same interests?

They say police arrested him at 2.15am, but there's no date? Is there another source? We know on May 3, 2017 he was in Germany.

You'd think if you were said person's sibling, you'd have the good sense to keep your mouth shut, and your head down where media is concerned. B/c even the fact that family has given a statement to the media probably made it more dangerous for the girl! There is no way (in my estimation) that the girl wasn't tracked down by LE, unless she ended up in some criminal underworld being hidden by criminals.

I wonder, does Germany have a witness protection program? If she or someone else had actual, relevant information to provide police, would she / they be able to access police protection? Assume a completely new identity and end up somewhere else in the world?
