Madison County Coroner Stephen Nonn and Pontoon Beach Police Chief Chris Modrusic have reached out to the public for help in identifying a body discovered near a wooded area on June 2. Shane Lily, spokesman for the coroner’s office described the man as being of “mixed ancestry ... not to exclude Hispanic descent.” He is between 5-feet, 2-inches tall and 5-8 and is between 30 and 50 years old. He has only five teeth remaining and is missing his entire upper row, Lily said.

The man was found wearing a black Michael Jordan XL jacket, a black XL Russel brand tee shirt, and a white long sleeved thermal shirt. Anyone with information about this male is asked to call Modrusic’s office at 618 931-5100 or the coroner’s office at 618-692-7478.
