Major break? Eyewitness News tracked Casey's location 6/17 to an area near OIA

About the airport...I am kind of wondering...our airport is kind of all fenced off...so it would be somewhat difficult to get to the more remote areas surrounding the airport. Is/Are the area(s) in question surrounding this airport outside of the actual airport property?

Hearing from Clint that Casey slept at Tony's on the 15th as opposed to Cindy's claim that Casey slept at home with Caylee the night of Father's Day

the GPs outburst today when questioned about the "new theory" that Caylee is dead

Casey finally having a meeting with her parents again

Jose Baez suddenly deciding to legally challenge the cadaver dogs

And now... this leak about the airport....

To me, it sounds like they'll be charging Casey very soon & her refusal to cooperate w/ the investigation for 2 months will NOT go over well with a jury.... despite Cindy testifying for her that this 'mother of the year' was only quiet to protect her daughter.

Really...is there any reason for Casey to be using a shovel? She doesn't seem to be the type to get into manual labour on a regular basis, does she? I think there is one clear reason for Casey to have used that shovel.

If the 17th is actually when she took the gas cans, she may have used it to pry the shed open like speculated. Maybe she didn't know where she was going to take Caylee's body and as her Mom says Casey always plans ahead, how dumb would it be to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere after disposing of your daughter body.

That's what baffles me...really...your granddaughter is missing and you are supporting the person who is supposed to protect her...but somehow let her be "kidnapped" or whatever BS she spews. I can only wonder if they are being "supportive" so that Casey believes they are still playing her game, in (desperate) hopes that Casey will reveal something substantial about the circumstances surrounding Caylee's disappearance.

becuase as Casey has stated, the kidnapper threatend to harm the entire Anthony family.

I am simply playing Devil's Advocate as to the single piece of info about her being located at the airport on June 17.
It can be a big piece, but I still feel the LE is going to have to prove that Caylee perished while in Casey's chain of custody, this is assuming a body is not found/cause of death cannot be determined.

This is true..I went to Orlando last February and took my daughter who was 2 1/2 at the time. She had her own seat..they never asked for her birth certificate which the airlines TOLD me to bring. I also had my son who was 6 months old and he was on my lap not in his own seat..they never asked for his birth certificate either. We flew Southwest there and AirTran home NEITHER asked for id.

at this point a conviction is still very hard to get. Even if a body is found, if there is not absolute evidence that is was homicide, Casey can (and will) always cop to a plea that it was an accident and she freaked out. the most they will get her on is unlawful disposal of a body. Maybe some other lesser felonies as well.

This 'airport' trip can also dovetail into the kidnappers story, she will just say that she brought Caylee to the airport and the kidnappers left the country with Caylee. We've seen posts here of folks who travel with young ones and that the kids identity is not verified in order to board a plane.

Yes, this is a big development but only if it leads to something else, some other evidence of non-accidental wong doing.
Otherwise I can easily see a defense attorney explaining this locatin away.

I truly hope that more comes from this, but at this point it can still leave room for reasonable doubt and not be enough to get a conviction.
Clearly you can tell that I feel Caylee has perished at the hands of Casey, however our legal system has such a high standard that I just pray the totality of the witnesses, evidence & perhaps finding Caylee's body, can be enough to put this monster Casey behind bars for a long time.

I don't think so. If the DNA tests prove she had Caylee in the trunk after her demise, that would be way more evidence than they had with Scott Peterson. There was zero Physical evidence with him.

I'm not sure what all those stories have to do with what liltigress wrote. All LE is saying is that they still don't have anything solid to believe a kidnapping babysitter exists. LE has never implied Casey was the killer, only that she is the key, that she is not giving them anything.

I'm just saying as a suggestion, don't take everything that LE has to say as verbatim, when time and time again we have heard they too can be wrong as no one is perfect.

Maybe it's just my wishful thinking that Caylee is still alive and being held somewhere because thats what I want to be true, because she won't be dead like most think. But just because LE says their not looking for a kidnapper, doesn't mean there isn't one.

Everything is circumstantial at this point. Until someone including LE comes out and says we have irrefutable evidence that proves what happened to Caylee, they should be looking and investigating into all leads, people, and information about Caylee until she is found no matter what personal feelings or gut thoughts tell them.

In order to grasp this, I mentioned 2 very real cases right here in FL that proves beyond a thought that even LE can be wrong, and by saying that they still don't have anything solid to believe a kidnapping babysitter exists, maybe they just haven't found it yet.

The first 2 weeks, I believed they were just placating her so she'd give them some straight answers.

After a while, I started seeing they were really doing NOTHING solid to find Caylee.... not contacting any of the well known missing child organizations, antagonizing the media, sayig REALLY absurd things in defense of Casey....

I can appreciate they don't want to lose Casey too BUT their own strange behavior & comments are doing more to hurt Casey than anything else.

Weird way to support Caylee OR Casey.

If I were Lee, I'd probably be thinking about leaving Florida as soon as Casey's trial is over.
