I don't think many will be shocked if I give the opinion that bribery has long been firmly entrenched in Russia and Ukraine. But because this is SO public, I think this is just a show of power.

Well Noah Sneider, journo who appears to be tweeting from a position of some danger, says the moment the train left, two jet fighters flew over and dropped bombs nearby. So maybe it's safer if train route destination was not announced?

One thing that has changed for me, the Ukraine's have lost the moral upper hand they had .. bombing the town where the train and journalists were, and hitting civilian targets is appalling and shows that they are no better than the rebels in my mind, no wonder we have stayed well out of this conflict .. you have Putin and the rebels on one side, and you have the Ukraine's with their neo-nazi affiliations on the other. Yes, let's just get what we can from the crash site and remain as safe as we can then back away slowly. Both sides as bad as each other, let the people decide what they want.

The separatists don't have fighter jets, so obviously the Ukrainian military is the one deploying the jets and dropping the bombs (I doubt the Russian military would have done so).

When I heard that, I thought WTH??? The victims' remains are finally being transported, and the Ukrainian military decides it's a good time to bomb an area full of journalists and civilians??!!

It seems to me that Pres. Poroshenko is no better than Putin and the separatists.

Justin Bronk, a research analyst at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), tweeted that a section of the cockpit showed damage consistent with attack by a SA 11 missile fired from a Buk launcher, which detonates a short distance away from a target, showering it with shrapnel.

Death of Russian citizen in cross-border shelling not enough to call Kiev to account - Psaki

The US Department of State has made another attempt to exonerate Kiev from responsibility for what's happening in eastern Ukraine.

Briefing reportes on July 15, State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki commented on the recent shelling of Russian territory from the Ukrainian side of the border and the follow-up visit to the scene by a group of foreign military attaches who had been specially invited on a fact-finding trip organized by Russia.

Psaki predictably accused Russia of failing to provide sufficient evidence confirming that Ukraine was indeed behind the July 13 cross-border mortar shelling in which a Russian citizen, a father of four, was killed.
