Does anyone know if a reward is on offer locally? I read about a just giving page I believe. A reward could really ramp it up a notch locally.

Is the resort completely fenced in? If yes, they should have searched the resort first. Was this done?
Was a car seen on cctv leaving the resort during the night or early morning hours?
Mmmm very odd that cctv didn't capture her.

The frustrating thing is, the CCTV is very limited. Someone at the resort has said it only covers the front reception area. I doubt she was anywhere near there when she left the accommodation.

The search for missing Franco-Irish teen Nora Quoirin enters its 4th day. The rescue mission is now centred on Sg Berembum, a river flowing 60m from The Dusun resort, where the girl was last seen by a witness swimming this morning.

So they are seeing that as a credible sighting?
And they are saying it was this morning?
I thought the motorcycle rider saw her on Sunday afternoon? Are there 2 sightings of her in the river?
Divers and sniffer dogs are part of the search and rescue efforts but so far, no sign of Nora Quoirin. More to come at 3pm.

The Nora Quoirin case is still classified as a missing persons case but they are considering all possibilities & have interviewed several people. > 200 people involved in the search and rescue ops overall including a dive team. Two drones, six sniffer dogs also being used.

Missing Irish girl: Family incensed at media’s overture
NILAI – The family of Irish girl, Nora Anne Quoirin, 15, who went missing since Sunday was incensed when local and international journalists tried to approach them for interviews at the The Dusun resort area in Pantai.
The journalists who had been waiting, stumbled upon four people who were believed to be the family members of the victim, when they walked out of the resort area heading towards Gunung Berembun accompanied by a local woman.
When approached, a man who was believed to be the father of the victim, scolded the media practitioners who tried to take their photographs and told them not to do so.
“No picture! Please stop the recording. What if this happens to your family,” he said.
Seeing their response, the media had to comply and efforts to get a statement from the family of the victim on the incident since the first day the victim was reported missing came to nought.

Search and rescue for Irish teen missing in Negri Sembilan enters fourth day
The scope of this SAR operation which entered its fourth day, has been expanded to include surrounding hills and creeks and not limited to the surrounding area of the four-acre resort.
Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department deputy director (Investigation/ Legal) Datuk Salehhudin Abd Rahman when met by Bernama explained that finding the Irish girl was not an easy task.
He said in order to locate meet the girl as soon as possible, the operations today was also assisted by local people including the Orang Asli people who volunteered to help locating Quoirin.
As of yesterday, the SAR operations involved 178 personnel and Salehudin said it was sufficient at this time and did not rule out the possibility of increasing the force if needed.
“Anyway, let’s see in the next day or two,” he said.
Security agencies involved in the SAR operations include the police, General Operations Force (PGA) 4th Semenyih Battalion and Senoi Praak unit from PGA 3rd Battalion, state Fire and Rescue Department, Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM), Malaysian Volunteers Corps Department (RELA), state Forestry Department, Sapura employees, as well as locals including the Orang Asli.
He also urged all parties not to speculate about the teen disappearance as it could cause anxiety among family members and the community.

Report: Family insists missing Irish teen was taken, frustrated by Malaysia’s search for her
Separately, Matthew Searle from the Lucie Blackman Trust, a missing persons charity representing the family, said the Malaysian police’s approach was causing frustration as the family did not accept their theory that Nora wandered off on her own.
Searle said the family was terrified over the possibility that the police are not using all its resources for the search because of the theory.
“They know Nora and what she is capable of and don’t feel that they are being listened to.
“This is a girl who wouldn’t venture into her own garden without a family member holding her hand. They are getting increasingly frustrated and are all exhausted, having not slept a great deal.” Searle was quoted as saying.
