The sheer fact her scent was picked up there says something about her walking capabilities. That is one steep slope. The ground here reminds me of the flooring on a children’s playground where they have chipped wood. Whilst not comfortable to walk on bare foot, it wouldn’t cut your feet, similar to the rocks along the river where she was found, whilst not pleasant to walk on very smooth and curved so wouldn’t cause any injuries necessarily.

The inquest was back today and then postponed until October 1st- I have watched today’s hearing, but none in English and no sign of her parents yet.

It's getting more weird.
A fish pond; would that be the lake in the Dusun's map?
An abandoned toilet.
And rapids.
North of the Dusun.

North of the Dusun while Nora was found East of the Dusun.
(If the info is correct because we don't know for sure where she was found.)

I'm now confused with dogs... none got her scent near window.. that's a bit strange..
Without a comprehensive map showing dog signal areas clearly, it's a guessing game..
Cadaver dogs only search for cadaver scent.
There are very many great articles online describing their skills and levels of training.
Some are extraordinary, some trained for underwater searching..
Confused.

Seems so strange, if the dogs didn't track her scent from the window where did they start from? They must have checked the door too.

Dogs are amazing, but dogs are not perfect. Is it known how long after her departure the dogs were brought in? How many other people had likely gone to the window, opened and closed it, leaned through it, looked at the ground, etc, before then? I've followed many cases of missing persons where dogs didn't pick up the scent, and others where they do.

Back to sniffer dogs, this is from a Malaysian news outlet, IMO more thorough reporting as they are actually attending the inquest.

Article refers to various dogs brought in. I would think dogs might be confused by the scents of other dogs.

Cadaver dogs did not find anything when they searched on the 10th, she may have still been alive.

Focus was often 'around the Hindu temple', which is a feature in the vicinity of where she was found, but not clear from recently posted maps, how far it was from her final resting place.

Would Nora be scared of dogs?

Thank you for doing that- I’m sure the family got given hard copies or emailed the actual evidence folder and aren’t just watching via YouTube. Quite a few of the images shown on the 14th have been referred to several times before in previous sessions. It’s frustrating that they aren’t clearer, but I suppose we should be grateful it’s even on YouTube.

August 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th; Border Collie and a Labrador Retriever trained to detect missing persons in the forest

August 10th; Two cadaver dogs -English Springer Spaniel- were added and the centre of search was around the temple towards a water treatment plant in a radius of one kilometre. The dogs were specially trained to sniff out dead bodies.
