AC/DC founder Malcolm Young has died at age 64. He had left the band in 2014 due to the onset of dementia.

The group's Facebook page published a statement as well.

"It is with deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of Malcolm Young, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Malcolm had been suffering from Dementia for several years and passed away peacefully with his family by his bedside."

Malcolm hasn't been healthy for years, but I still picture him as the young guy on the cover of "Highway to Hell". RIP Malcolm Young, I salute you.
