The man is currently recovering from his life-threatening and police are still trying to pinpoint the cause of the incident.

Contacted by AOL News today, a man who answered the phone at the sex shop declined to discuss the incident. "I don't know nothing about it," he said.

Talmadge said a fire investigator is still looking into the case. Oddly, she said authorities have found "no damage to the inside of the building at all."

That is why there are some stories I just don't click on here, besides the fact it breaks my heart....the what ifs are too much for me.

It's been about 10 years since I lived in SF, but it kind of cracks me up that some bypassers are just as non-plussed.

Maybe it was just a cigarette accident?

I couldn't find any more recent information. If he had died I'm sure there would have been a story about it, but I can't find anything beyond the initial report except those two videos.

The guy is burned over 90% of his body so he's pretty far from ok but he'll live, probably.
