A California designer has turned a $2,000 dumpster into a fully functional home, complete with a bathroom, bed, kitchen and sun deck. Gregory Kloehn converted the dumpster in Brooklyn off of a hunch, and now he uses it whenever he stays in New York. 'It just hit me,' he said on HGTV's show, 'You Live in What?' 'I thought hey, this is the perfect shape for a home.'

Must be stifling hot. He'd better hope the bear doesn't walk off with him.

I think it is a great idea. I did think it was a larger longer one, actually made a similar comment about one of those once.

This guy should come arrange things in my apartment, he is very good with organizing in a small space. I hope he added central air/heat at some point. Is that a locked mail box on the front or what?

LMAO at the bear rolling him away comment, that would be hilarious if he didn't get hurt. Only rolled to another dirt ditch. Guess that would mean the mailbox wouldn't work for the new ditch address. :floorlaugh:
