ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Santa Claus came to town, and he left with an undisclosed amount of cash. A man dressed as Old St. Nick walked into a Wachovia Bank in this Dallas suburb early Tuesday and told the teller he had a gun. No weapon was produced, and no one was injured in the heist.
Instead of a sleigh, he fled in a gray or silver car.
A description of the man, more than 6 feet tall and weighing about 230 pounds, didn't exactly match the best known resident of the North Pole.
He had a "muscular build," dark hair and brown eyes, according to police.
