As a mom ,I relate to all these headlines. I applaud them all for not giving up. Even him..

I laughed at his statement that his father would kill him. He is 50 years old.

No one has invented a good ,easy way to tell your parents you just need to find yourself. Even at 50 it is challenging.

I am laughing but deep inside I know that I easily could became one of those searching for me. Thanks to my dog I got out of an exerciseloop after several rounds, I guess she got fed up to walk the same path over and over.

We are all looking for our self deep inside ,Not all of us get slapped in the face with our identity when we feel lost but i feel better knowing we could.

I believe we have 2 threads for this man in search of himself!

Perhaps I'll add him to Now I've Heard Everything....

Oh then he'll be looking for himself on two threads. He'll be really confused.

Then our @Marg from Oz can tell his dad on him. That cracked me up.

Although I had sad episodes, both of my parents died, my dad in 1994, my mom in 2007, I feel peace. At the same time I miss their care...my mother always said when we said goodbye: be careful, don't go on the ice, or my dad: don't do what I've done. Be wiser.

<3. I am lucky to still have both my parents. Dad is 86 and Mum is 79. She only just stopped working in the family business last year. She wanted a Ford Mustang for a retirement present so I bought her one. When I give her lip she threatens to run me over with it :D

My Dad is 87.

My step-mom is likely to work him to death. If so, you may decide to open a thread about her subsequent disappearance, and the subsequent disappearance of my step-sister & step-brother.

Hypothetically.
