MENDOCINO CO., 5/10/25 – The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office and a local family are asking for help in locating a missing man who was last seen near Covelo.

Manuel Alvarado, 44, was last seen at a cannabis grow near Covelo on July 22, 2024.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Alvarado texted his mother on July 22 telling her that he loved her and was going to die. He asked her to send help.
