I have witnessed information being totally screwed up via newspaper writer. I would really like to hear from LE or the ME confirming that there indeed was a ring associated with JD. I have been interviewed by writers and have witnessed others being interviewed, and invariably there are misquotes and misinformation. I just don't want to see us spend a lot of energy on the ring if it never existed.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but how exactly does this "guy" fit into this case? Also, if we are trying to get LDJ's cooperation does it make sense to post something like this? If she's reading here, or decided to join here do you think she would be willing to cooperate and continue after reading something like that?

Oh dear I give up seems like EVERYtime I post something people jump all over me oh well whatever .... just thought it might be another avenue to contact HER because im not 100% positive the facebook/myspace person is the right girl...Maybe she is still with this guy or HE knows how to contact her....

if this Lindsey is NOT her thats on facebook then maybe this is the right one..... and in case the facebook one is NOT the right one and leads to a dead end somehow........ then maybe this guy can be another avenue to check into, to get into contact with the right one, or maybe know information that may be helpful....

But I appreciate the info!!! people can take/leave with what they want! please dont be discouraged to post!!

The only thing I see thats remotely kinda 'bad' is the kids information . You know how some nuts are out there!

But hopefully the real LDJ will beunderstanding if she happens to come here.. Everyone just wants to help!

Lol! Thank you for researching and finding new information. Also, ty for taking the babies' names off. I know you didn't mean anything bad by posting them but I'd hate for the little ones to be searching online one day and find their names associated with such a tragic case.

I agree 100%! Sometimes I'm hessitant to post my ideas for fear it'll divert the thread, but I'd never want anyone to feel that way! Great find phenolred! I'm impressed, I've not been able to find much at all on LD.

I'm going to post this just because I've been praying that God would speak to me in my dreams about MJD. I want to make it clear that I am not a medium or anything of the sort. But, I've had significant dreams in the past and have learned that names mean places in my dreams sometimes. That being said... there were two names in a dream I had last night that I want to mention just to see if they stand out to anyone as possible places. Scott (maybe for Scottsdale?) Christie (my first thought was maybe corpus christi). This is a far shot but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I just found more info on LDJ an address and phone # but the number doenst work anymore.

Based on the address which I think are apartments. I found several people that are possible neighbors for her. One I found as an active member on myspace

Here is what I sent him via email:

"Dear Sir,

I am a xxxxxxxxxx with a non profit organization that assists police
in identifying UID's and works on missing persons cases. If you are the
well respected Mr. David Leibowitz previously with the Arizona Republic,
I would be incredibly appreciative if you could verify something that
appeared in a story you wrote about a lovely Jane Doe who was pushed or
jumped from a car in Pinal County AZ in 1999.

Recent analysis has changed the estimated age of this child from 13-19 to under 16. At the minimum she was a teen living an extremely high risk life style and at the maximum this cost her everything. I want to include the text of the article in the email, simply because there are two things missing from the Medex website: her clothing and a picture of the ring she wore around her neck. If there is a chance that you kept any of your notes from the article, could you send me any information regarding what she was wearing or if the ring information was verified? There seems to be a scramble going on at Susie Dodt's office to try and find a picture of the ring.

This little girl has never been identified and there is no satisfactory
end to her story in terms of justice either. The on line community has
taken her to their hearts and there is new energy surrounding the need to identify her-I am certain that we can do this with your help.
