If I was in the area, I'd love to go and talk to a detective working on the case (since they say it is still open, right?) Maybe we could all sign a petition to release more photos and/or more information about MJD?

It's interesting that Lindsey reportedly remembered MJD's name may have been Carla or Cory. I always have thought she looks more like a Lisa. Anyone else have a name in mind when they see her? Just curious.

I always thought she looked like a Melissa.. I guess because her features resemble a friend of mine named Melissa.

I'm up for a petition!

I'd sign in a heartbeat!!! for some reason when I look at her I think of like christine, christina, crystal, forgot courtney too that type of name I dunno why lol

:crazy: Hi ya'll! I will sign a petition too - but I sure hope it won't come to that. I find it hard to believe the LE investigation is still ongoing. But...I have always thought of MJD as a Julia. I have a niece with that name and she is beautiful and smart and perfect in every way.

Im thinking maybe we should do a letter and see if she responds. Maybe someone Vashley maybe can write it up and then let Christine take alook at it and she is she thinks its Ok then go ahead and mail it and keep our fingers crossed that she responds

I have had varied success with Craigslist, and I know we did a series of postings for our lovely MJD-maybe it is worth throwing one onto the CL where LDJ lives???

I just talked to my "source", and he said the last time police talked to Lindsey was around December. So, I guess that's kind of recent...
Apparently she's not to eager to do much talking.

Maybe it would be better to just say that she fell from a moving vehicle. If someone has information, we certainly don't want to raise any hackles.

Hello,

I am a member of an on-line community called Webstleuths and one of our missions is to find missing or unidentified people. In January of 1999, a young girl either fell or was pushed out of a car moving 75 miles per hour in Pinal County, Arizona. She was airlifted to Maricopa County where she passed away the following day, having never regained consciousness and, therefore, never being able to state her name. Nearly 9 ½ years later, we are still trying to figure out where she belongs.

It has recently come to light that the authorities investigating this case have reason to believe that this unidentified girl was from Mohave County. Those of us attempting to identify her are now speculating that she may have been a runaway or turnout from the FLDS. This would explain why her parents are not searching for her, as well as other things. We now feel that our best hope for identifying our little Maricopa Jane Doe is to find a sibling or cousin who may remember or recognize her…..and that is where we need your help!

We know that you are very much involved with the Lost Boys of the FLDS and are hoping you might assist us in bringing this child to their attention. I am attaching this beautiful girl’s Websleuths thread for your information. I must warn you that there are post-mortem photos here, as well as a number of artist renderings that have been done in the hope of learning her identity.

This girl is not listed on any missing person’s sight that exists. We are praying that the Lost Boys of the FLDS can help us and that you can help us in reaching them. Please take the time to review this case and help us to identify this lovely girl. We do not want to upset anyone, but she needs a name.

The only thing I might add would be something along the lines of "if you have any other suggestions where we could search for information re: missing FLDS girls" ie;They may know of other ways to search for missing FLDS people
