It has everyone's name involved, from police & hospital personnel to witnesses to people questioned on the street.
I was thinking the same thing about editing out the names.
This is the report containing notes from all of the police officers & detectives. Although on the request form I did ask for all "publicly available info", I think some of the info it contains shouldn't necessarily be put on the net.

If their names were listed in the report you received then it is public information and shouldn't have to be edited. Otherwise they wouldn't have sent it to you with all of the names listed IMO. Another thing I also thought about...If they were driving in a Cadillac they have electric locks and the driver could have locked her door so she couldn't have opened it She might have jumped out of the window since she couldn't get out of the door.

''He told her he would be there for her, would take care of her, but that she would have to work for him,'' said Vice Squad Sgt. XXXXXX . ''He said to her, 'Here's how it works,' then he brought her and three other girls out here.''
Police have not found the other two girls XXXXXX allegedly brought to the Valley."

I would guess that "DMA" are her initials and that Cory or Carla was her alias. Dancers and prostitutes do not usually go by their real names. Also if she would have ever been arrested I would think they would have put her in a youth center or something like that since she was under age and a prostitute.

Ok so if LE had leads that MJD was from Milwaukee, did they follow up with LE in Milwaukee and the surrounding area? I would think that if MJD was living at one time in a "home for juveniles" that, that would mean that she was in the "system" so to speak. So if we follow that line of thought, wouldn't the state of WI have her picture, vitals, and fingerprints already on file?

I guess I knew she was probably a prostitute but this info makes me really sad. That poor girl. I guess she didn't make the best choices, but...she was only fifteen! I wonder if she was a runaway from a foster home. If she wasn't from AZ, there's no telling where she was from. It's too bad that states won't post their missing foster children--but I guess that would make them look bad. (Do any states do that anyway?)

Edited to add: it looks like Michigan and Illinois do, but only back to 2006 for Michigan (haven't checked Illinois yet). Boo.

That's what I thought. That or a group home of some kind. I also wonder if she was really 15 or younger. If she was younger and hadn't learned how to drive, the oldest she could say she was is 15. She had to be younger than 18 because, I believe, the min age to work in a "mens club" would have been 18 in 98.

The report must state somewhere who they thought her pimp was.

They questioned the man that the nearby resident had mentioned was probably the pimp, (already in jail for something else), but he said he knew nothing of the girl, and had only been in town few weeks.

Is this person still incarcerated? I wonder if he would be interested in talking now? I imagine if he knew she was a minor back then he could have been in a lot more trouble. Would he still be facing trouble today for getting a minor into prostitution this many years later? IF not, I am hoping maybe--- if we can find him--- he might share some additional info now he was unwilling to previously???? It's worth a shot.

The statue of limitations would be up now so yes if we could find him maybe he'd tell us what he knew about DMA. If we had his name we could do a search in the jail records to see if he was still incarcerated

And for cities along the route from Milwaukee to Phoenix. If he didn't drive straight through, he could have picked her up anywhere along the route.

I don't believe MJD was reported missing. If she was, I believe she would have been id'd already.

I wonder if LE interviewed the 13 yr XXXXX brought from Milwaukee to see if she recognized or knew MJD from Milwaukee or anywhere else he could have picked her up along the route to AZ. (Won't let me edit the italic, so I bolded.

I think it's obvious she wasn't in AZ long, if she was and had been working as a prostitute for a little longer, wouldn't she or her pimp know of others doing the same, and if so, why would she have jumped into Alonzo's car? I think she jumped in looking for a trick. (imo)

I think that her personal grooming is important, the jewelry is important. When you get a chance FmW, would you check and see if the detectives sent any info out of state? There must be a reason that FMW source indicated that she came from Mojave County, they believe, so it must be in notes somewhere.

While i understand your position, Fairy1, I raised the confidentiality aspects to Christine myself in a pm. Think about the fact that there are many interested in sleuthing this case; I would hate for witnesses to be run down and questioned by sleuthers as a result of us receiving this information and it being made available on the net. Handling the report sensitively might guarantee us further access in other case reports in the future if we allow the mods here at WS to redact witness id's etc...jmho

The police report I received is from the original 1999 reports. The Mojave info is something recent.

Look at the mole under her nose... both on the missing girl and on the morgue photos of MJD.
