I believe she had a 2x2 scrape, iirc, on her left palm...minimal if you consider what might have been there if she had truly put her hands down...like broken bones, gravel in her skin, SOMETHING...imo.

I agree! I posted earlier that it would make sense that they tossed her unconscious out of the vehicle to cover up that someone had already inflicted a potentially fatal blow to the head.
I'm wondering if ME could tell if all of the head injuries occurred at the same time?

I would think ME could estimate when the head injuries occured in relation to eachother.

He's not one of the original detectives - he's from the PD near where the accident happened, that's joining the case. He's waiting for the pics, too.

Hi, I'm new here. Found this site during one of my searches on an old friend/schoolmate whose case is currently unsolved (Brandy Lynn Myers just to cure any curiosity that may arise), and this one caught my attention as well as I've lived in Phoenix since birth and know the area well.

I've read pretty much every post in every thread, and I've seen it mentioned that Van Buren and the South Phoenix area is notorious for prostitution and other not so kosher behaviour, and I will confirm that. Out here, Van Buren is pretty much synonymous with prostitution, just as gambling is with Las Vegas.

I did a random google search for KTL knowing I'd most likely come across a few of the Maricopa court cases, which lead me to the pdf file of one of the minute recordings for the case previously posted where he was arrested sometime in 2007 with a few women, 2 of which had the last name. I don't recall it being mentioned, so just out of complete curiosity I decided to run the names of the females against the Wisconsin courts and sure enough, they were in there, including KTL's. Now I will admit that I may be way off base here, but I think it's too much of a coincidence for all of their names to have come up in the same state KTL is reportedly from.

kelley lipsey is a man who was indicted for bringing an underaged child (13) from the East Coast to Phoenix for prostitution. He is a known pimp with quite the rap sheet, and he hails from Milwaukee. He was questioned by the original detectives as well as the current detective regarding his possible knowlege of who MJD is...

Vashley wrote a fabulous letter a while back to see if the case could get spotlighted. Perhaps another few contacts from us will get them to consider it? I agree that getting the word out will be a great way to get her id'd.

Regarding Craigslist-I have to say that in all the time I have worked with that board, I have NEVER seen such a cynical filthy mindset as on the boards for Milwaukee and Phoenix, no offense to those who may love those cities...I think that it might have been a better tool, if there was not such a focus on being posted there....YIKES.

Is there more info on him on these boards? I would rather not sift through the pages and pages of threads if you know off hand where to grab the info.

My mindset (before knowing about Kelley) was that MJD was possibly being pimped out by Alonzo.

I'm VERY certain that Alonzo and Lindsey are hiding something and that they DEFINITELY know MJD's name at the very least, but my certainties are just circumstantial and logical assumptions I have about the case.

Why they're pretending they don't know anything about her is beyond me, but I find it highly unlikely you pick someone up to go on a LONG car ride without asking their name. They're hiding something and too bad LE can't use torture to get the info out of them..... GRRR!

Vashley, I actually stated I wasn't interested, but it was late and didn't realize my typo of 'interesting' which may have caused some confusion. No harm though.

Something I noticed as well while sifting through all of the court cases for KTL and the others, a lot of the attorney's names are the same, suggesting they used public defenders or paid the same private attorney. I'm curious to know if maybe these attorneys have seen MJD and could possibly give any clues as to who she is - providing she is from WI to begin with.

This next one is a website michigan set up SPECIFICALLY to list the teen foster children who have runaway-how cool is this!!! Just imagine if the states actually took inventory and then cared to put it on a website when they could not find a child! Bet we would have found out who MJD is by now...

The down side is of course that the children on the MI site are from the last 2 years...I am going to continue to check and see what other resources I can gather on runaway foster kids....
