Is that the federal trial for KL? I know one court date is in August but I don't remember which one. Also somebody on here awhile back said KL was in jail. I did a search and it doesn't show he is incarcerated at this time. If he's not I wonder where he is staying.

I read about them all going to court too. They have KL on some federal charges but not sure what they are I will have to check into it.

Julesleuther, I think the answers to your most recent two questions are still now, but the detective is working on last was posted.

TL: A part of me thinks if he did then he could have used IDing her as a bargaining tool - leverage but again maybe his lawyer told him it wasn't a good idea and that saying he knew her would only make it worse for him.

I think the second half where I bolded is most likely. Now, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes with LE with this case being re-opened, the reporter Christine was in contact with KL's pending case. Hopefully there is something in the mix going on with that right now.....

I will be back in Phoenix in about three weeks(going to see family in CO after CA) and then I have to get my son back to school, but then I can help.

I think it 's a great idea if someone local could get all copies of anything in 'print' that is unavailable to us via the net.

I know here in Indiana you will not show up in the DOC Dept of Corrections website as an inmate if you are in COUNTY JAIL.

Maybe thats why maybe since he hasnt went to trial yet he is still in County Lockup.

After sentencing then he would probably be turned over to the state DOC

As far as the eyebrow thing goes...yes, most women do remove hair from their eyebrows in some way, but that particular shape of brow is very common in the chola subculture of the Mexican American community. That had actually struck me before, but I figured that since Phoenix is a predominately Hispanic city, that eyebriw style may be more common? I myself styled my eyebrows like that when I was 13 (actually I shaved them and drew them back on).

And MJD didn't necessarily have to have her navel pierced professionally, Believe...I have repierced mine at home successfully. If her tattoo was homemade, I doubt she went to a shop to get the piercing...

I don't know. To me, they appear to be professionally waxed, perfectly arched eyebrows.

And you're right about the piercing. I pierced my naval at 16, then again at 18, unprofessionally.

Thanks for clearing it up for me! I kind of thought that may have been the case but just wanted to be 100% certain!

Referrring to a type of prostitute that goes on the travelling curcuit this one article from 2000 talks to a circuit girl and alot of them travel to the warm weather in the winter. They also tend to be dresses better and are more well groomed than the average street hooker.

Maybe MJD was a Circuit girl. They interviewed a circuit girl named Nicole for the story and she looks like MJD BUT this was the yr 2000 so it NOT HER

Also, as someone mentioned previously, the Superbowl was slated to be held in Miami in 1999, so it makes perfect sense for them to drive cross-country for that circuit.

OMG funny you mention that I did not know that BUt in one of the articles it SPECIFICALLY STATES they were gearing up in Phoenix for Circuit girls coming for the SUPERBOWL!!!!!

He thinks the guy that the car dealer manager saw on tv was KL.

And I agree with you. I had no idea about this kind of stuff.
I think our girl MJD was definitely a circuit girl. The circuit girl interviewed in the article is very pretty. If I passed her on the street I would have no idea she was a hooker. Just like MJD didn't have the look of a hooker.
