I was looking at the picture of the backseat area. Does it not look like there is no backseat whatsoever? Also, the seats in the front are not even, the driver's seat being up closer to the steering wheel and the passenger seat further back and the dohickey in the middle (console?) is in the down position whiich to me, indicates MJD may have, in fact, been in the back area of the car.

It still does not look like a real seat was in the back tho.. LALALALAND:bang:

The back seat is there - it's quite low near the floor. The pic where you can see the red/blue envelope was taken from above facing the back, apparently after items had been removed for cataloging.

The other pic was taken at angle from left rear to front right. The carpeted grey boxes are cheap speakers sitting on the back seat, the brown leather thing may be a suitcase, not the armrest. The CaseLogic thing, probably a cassette carrier.

I went back to find the information about where she was buried and I think I might have dreamed it. I could not find the information at all about where the UID's are buried.

The only reason I ask is I was watching a ducmentary and learned that in some UID cases, they keep the remains refrigerated for a period of time. I'm sure that 9 1/2 years is too long for MJD whihc made me wonder where she is.

Thanks-I appreciate the clarification. Once a hundred years ago I worked for Reed and Barton. For those of you that are unfamiliar with them, they are one of the oldest silver makers in the US, primarily known for flatware and silver plate dishes. ("Holloware.") We would engrave for all occasions, but 9/10 engravings for a male would be block of some kind vs script. Just my experience...we did money clips, card cases, cigarette cases etc...

I agree.

I think that's a CaseLogic CD case.

It looked like a bruise to me. Almost like a bruise you'd get when someone punches you. Is it listed on the autopsy report...

Regarding the bruise, at first I thought it may have been her areola/nipple area. But the more I look at it, it does look like a bruise. I should mention that I have a tattoo on my.. erm.. breast area as well and I experienced a little bit of bruising underneath and around it a few days after I had gotten it. Perhaps her tattoo was recently done? Just a thought. But it really does look more like the areola, IMO. Perhaps that's why it was never put on the website.

Wow! That sucker looks expensive! Someone REALLY loved this girl to give her jewelry like this (or they were grooming her for working for them). Or maybe she worked hard and bought it for herself. Either way, it's a beautiful cross.

How can you even see it?

We should have all these pics and links in one thread..not the grahic one. Yeah?

They have been going onto the picture thread as well-I am glad FMW is hitting us with them here as well, though!!! I am getting burned out from the Brooke Bennett thread and the Caylee Anthony thread lol...I need to be spoonfed information at this point!!

I have a cross exactly like that one. It was about $200 when it was bought for me in about 1999. Was it ever checked to see if it was real diamonds? I don't remember. It was probably a gift since pimps keep most of the money from the girls they pimp out. Would someone please send me the pictures from the hospital? [email protected] Thanks!

I am a long-time lurker on this thread....don't remember if I ever posted.

Regarding her purse.....I work in a hospital and the standard operating procedure is that any items that the patient cannot retrieve themselves, they go in the safe in the security office, where they stay until claimed. I have seen MANY instances of items languishing in the safe in security for years and years. Has anyone contacted the security department at the hospital to see if it's still there? Seems silly, I know....but it does happen.

ETA: This may have already been linked here.....a story on this case from the New Times.

Hello and welcome eleven! Thank you for your valuable insight! Does anyone have an established contact at the hospital?

I'll call and ask, unless we have someone here who has already..

Scottsdale-Osborne, right? I'm assuming I would contact administration or security?..

ETA

I found a general information hotline for Scotts-Osb hospital: General Information 480-323-3000

I can try calling this number and asking

Would you??? I consider you our medical specialist! :blowkiss:

Ditto-Let me be a tad fresh for a moment..."would you mind checking the safe for a white purse that may be filled with condoms?"

I would think that LE would have confiscated it and dusted for prints to see if our friends AF or LDJ might have had their hands on or in it...like did they throw it out the window afterwards??

Maybe this was a straight robbery? They were struggling over the money in her purse for the tricks she had turned that day???

I do think this is worth pursuing - though logic says LE would have done this already. However, logic does not seem to be entirely at play in this case. I honestly do not think any of the authorities involved believed MJD would remain unidentified for this long. We need new LE eyes here! Someone who gives a cr*p! I just looked at her hospital photo and I'm more determined than ever to find out who she is! I am truly beginning to believe that Alonzo literally got away with murder, but that is not going to help us in determining who MJD is. It's difficult to stay focused on identifying her when many of us believe that she was basically murdered.

Night! And I noticed the same thing. To me, it actually looks like she has ash blonde hair (naturally), and she had dyed it brown and bleached the top of it, something popular that my sister and her friends did in the 90's.

She has many different uneven colors in her hair, which to me looks like she has probably dyed her hair a lot. She has some "muddy" textures in it in the hospital pic, different browns.. from ashy brown tones to peroxide blonde.

I don't notice any gray. But honestly, we don't know if she went from brown to blonde or blonde to brown - originally. Who knows? Brown hair with blue eyes is relatively rare. Seems odd to me that so much of her was well cared for - except her hair.

I think it might be possible since it looks like there was lots of blood that some of the discolorations in her hair could be from dried blood, antiseptic soap etc. The poor thing It makes me sick to think that she died at the hospital all alone. I hope that when we do ID her that somebody has been looking for her and that she wasn't a child somebody just neglected and gave up on. If she was a prostitute she had to have had a terrible life. I was going to say a terrible life growing up but she hadn't even got the chance to grow up.
