I thought about this because sometimes that stuff is released very rapidly, but there have definitely been times (Brad Renfro comes immediately to mind and I think Chris Penn, also) when official results (OD in both cases) did not come out for a month or longer. So who knows. Either way, it is very sad.

Is it possible with a history of past drug and alcohol abuse that her body could have had damage that was unidentified previous to her death, such as a heart condition etc...
This is what I was thinking initially, however some of the circumstances from Tonia's post make me wonder?
Hopefully Marilyn was happy with her life at the time of her passing, as many of her biographies on the web speak of regret and disappointment on not being able to crossover to mainstream success after her adult career took off. Moreover, I hope that her daughter, who found her, is able to find some peace.
All said, I knew nothing of Marilyn Chambers before her death but after doing some research she proved to be a charismatic and intriguing personality. I wish the best for her family and loved ones.

Where did you read that? I think it had been a while since she starred in any . She had tried, with limited success, to crossover into mainstream films.

Perhaps it was an air embolism, an admittedly rare event that can result from air being blown into the vagina during sex.

No... she stated that the info was from a site linked to her Wiki page that is no longer there. The Wiki page does not state this (and that's what she linked to.) So, more than likely, it's rumor and should not be believed at this time.

On Wiki, anyone can post anything without backup before Wiki removes it for lack of reference and/or cite source.

Yeah - I didn't find it on Wiki when I went to the link posted, but now it is in the original quote. I too agree that the 4 men before dying information is pure rumor!

However, as much as I hate to say it-Hard living does age you faster than normal in most cases. I'm not trying to pass judgement because that is not for me.

This is true. I must say, though, she looked terrific, IMHO - I should be so lucky at 57. I think she had been out of the porn industry for a while. I still think it was probably drugs - the hardest living there is - but I would love to be wrong about that!

Natural causes - more tests needed to say exactly what. Doesn't sound like it was drugs, which could be determined by an autopsy.

John Holmes did die of aids. He also was suspected in the Wonderland murders
But, for some reason, I seem to remember her name from a book about Boy George.
