The state of Texas is preparing to execute Wood on Thursday, March 13 after nearly four decades.

Marjorie Knox, 14, of Chaparral, N.M. was visiting friends in El Paso on Feb. 14, 1987. She attended a Valentine's Day party at Veteran’s Park. She loved horses and sports.

Knox was reportedly seen with Wood on several occasions before she disappeared. She knew Desiree Wheatley and they rode the same school bus in Chaparral.

"How could it bring closure," Cheryl A. Price, Marjorie ‘s sister, said about Wood’s upcoming execution. "Quite frankly, how could it bring closure if we don't have any answers? He's going to be executed on March 13 and he won't say anything because he's still maintaining his innocence."
