Please know that I'm not here to be an enforcer, although I have the ability if someone blatantly and willfully wants to abuse our TOS.

Thank you very much, my fear in posting about Marty S is that he is Crystal's father and I consider him to be a family member and I was always told that we should be very careful about discussing family members and accusing them of involvement in wrong doing. Especially considering that Law Enforcement has not labeled them as suspicious and they surely have not done this in the case of Marty S.

Having said all of that I personally have discovered some information that makes me suspicious of him. These are Marty's own statements and Connie's own statements. Also second hand statements made by others. I haven't discussed any of it because I don't want to be banned from WS, I like it here very much! LOL, I read other members discussing Ronald C and Teresa N and they are surely family members, but I still have not made a thread to discuss Marty S and Connie because just because everyone else is doing it doesn't make it okay, lol. I would probably be the one that gets reported...I have a hard time understanding how TOS applies in this forum because it is clear and understandable even that some are suspicious of RC, even though he is a family member. LE has not said he or Crystal are suspects and neither have they said that Marty S was suspicious. Do you understand my dilemma? I just looked for info on Marty S on my own and not talked about here because I thought family members were not to be discussed unless Law Enforcement introduced them into the fray...

Thanks for bringing that up elle. I have asked before about rumors being posted as fact up here, I am still not clear on it becasue it is allowed to go on but according to TOS it is against the rules. I also thought that bashing of family members was not allowed, but again I see it alot, no fact based statements, just rumor and innuendo, all the time. I also see personal attacks on posters and I know that is not allowed but nothing ever comes from it except the posts are removed. I have backed off posting for awhile, it's just not worth getting TOed or banned.

One thing I want to make clear is that I feel that when a member of WS is either TOd or Banned, it hurts everyone. That is not why I asked to be a mod. If you have any questions regarding what to post or not to post, I am online on and off during most days and am able to get back to you pretty quickly. That is why I was honored to be asked to help here, because I have the time right now.

My understanding is that yes, they are back.

Connie's myspace has reflected a move back (as does Johnny's). (Can't link, sorry).

I am not sure in which town they are living? Connie & Johnny both list Georgetown, but that is the same town they listed prior, I think. I believe that Connie's brother is still living in KY (maybe with Ruby - their mother?)

hmmm...that everybody wants to distance themselves from this case prolly because they don't want their lives picked apart..albeit, it doesn't appear any Cummings/Croslins/Sheffields have the...I'll just call it..the most upstanding of lives. BUT, that sure doesn't mean that they had anything to do with HaLeighs disappearance. It's not like they (or the Croslins for that matter) left under the 'cloak of darkness', more likely than not imho they just don't have the financial where-with-all to go and stay anywhere else..

But I sure don't see what their determining to move means toward the disappearance of Haleigh unless someone is accusing Marty and Connie of taking her and transporting her across state lines for the purposes of keeping her from her mother and father and their assorted relatives.

If that's what people are trying to do with them, I'd need some sort of theory or viable associated tidbits of information to pull together to make it make sense. Any help toward that end is appreciated.

I do think that is what some believe debs, but I can be of no help as I have never been able to wrap my brain around how all that could work. But a couple regular posters that do feel that way hopefully will come along with their theories and give you an idea of how it all went down. (in their opinion, of course )

Appears many want to move away....maybe they are afraid of rc. Maybe rc has threatened some. IF they believe the story about rc with the gun, putting it in his mouth and announcing he will take people with him, I might consider moving away also. rc behaves and speaks like a psycho, if all that we heard is true. Maybe Marty and wife decided to face him down instead of run.

IDK, I was wondering the same thing. Unless I missed something major, didn't see anything alert worthy, lol. But if Kimster pulled it for review there must have been ...something? I'm sure she will let us know..

I don't believe for one second Marty is afraid of RC. IMO the only reason they returned to Florida was because of some family issued they had in Kentucky. There are arrest logs somewhere that detail that info.
