A 13-year-old Maryland schoolboy has been charged with second degree assault after kissing a fellow eighth grader for a dare.

Baltimore County Police say the 14-year-old girl told the officer the boy grabbed her by her shirt near her stomach, pulled her toward him and kissed her against her will. Police say the boy said someone dared him to do it.

The boy was charged at Pikesville Middle school Wednesday as a juvenile and then released into the custody of his mom. He also faces disciplinary action at the school.
