A man with autism has gone missing in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and police are asking for the public's help to find him.
Alvaro Cervantes, 28, left his home on McDonald Chapel Court about 2:30 p.m. Thursday to go shopping, but hasn't been seen since, police said. Police say he left on foot.
Cervantes is described as a Hispanic male who is 5 feet 4 inches and weighs 140 pounds. He has curly black hair and brown eyes and he may be walking with a limp.
Cervantes is familiar with public transportation and may be at a bus stop or transit center. He might be carrying a white backpack.
