The Elkton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 29-year-old female.

ASHLEY ELIZABETH PARKHILL was last seen on July 15th, 2024, in the area of the Red Carpet Inn in Elkton, MD. The hotel is located on Belle Hill Rd near the intersection with Muddy Lane. Family reported her missing on October 12th, 2024.

“We do not suspect foul play,” Lt. Ronald Odom, an EPD detective and spokesman, told the Cecil Whig on Thursday afternoon before noting, “She has an open arrest warrant out on her, but it is for something minor.”

EPD officials posted a missing-person notice on the agency’s Facebook on Monday, asking the public to help investigators find Parkhill, who has blonde hair and green eyes and is 5’1” and 125 pounds.

The warrant may be for something minor but she has a very extensive history (given her young age) of failure to appears, on various charges of theft (multiple cases), forgery, forgery/currency, drugs, assault, assault against a Department of Corrections employee, and false statement to LE. I may have missed one - she had over a dozen records in Maryland's judiciary system. She is probably aware this current warrant for FTA may be the one that results in more jail time, where in and of itself it would have been minor (in my opinion).
