Bumping up for this John Doe. His case needs attention. Maybe he has been reported missing by now. Shall we try to find some possibilities? Can someone please list Rule-outs?

Ty for bumping his thread, @ChatteringBirds. There are no exclusions listed. I'll see what I can find in the way of PMs.

This is a super long shot but I wonder if Darron Glass should be submitted for comparison? He was 10yo when he disappeared from Atlanta in 1980 making him 24yo in 1994. It's suspected that he may have been a victim of SK Wayne Williams, however there is a possibility Darron left to live with an older sister who lived out of state, but the location isn't named. His ears and the shape of his face are similar to JD, imo.

Darron Glass – The Charley Project
Snipped

According to his caseworker, Thomas Bailey, Darron's foster placement with Smith was quite unsuitable. Bailey stated there were many adults of "questionable character" in the home, and suspicion of drug use and selling. He caseworker stated he voiced his concerns about the placement with his supervisor, but was ignored.

Bailey stated he found out about Darron's disappearance on November 15, the day after it happened. That same day, he got a call from a woman who claimed to be Darron's sister. Darron did have an adult sister, but she lived out of state and Darron was not in contact with her. Bailey said the caller told him she wanted to adopt Darron, but after Bailey told her Darron was missing, the caller hung up without leaving any contact information and never called back.

One of Darron's foster brothers claimed he knew Darron's whereabouts and got calls from him until as late as November 1980, but this was never verified. His status as a victim of the Atlanta Child Killer is tenuous; he was listed only because he fit the profile. Bailey theorizes Darron was not murdered and possibly went to live with his sister after his disappearance, and that he could still be alive.

Darron's case has never been closed. He remains missing and foul play is suspected in his case due to the circumstances involved.

I wonder what type of chronic illness he had? I'm also chronically ill so I felt a connection to him right away. I have a feeling he was homeless and couldn't get the medical care he needed.

Same! I also have chronic illness, but I did not see anything noted in any NamUs files... ugh.

Bumping up because I see it has been a year since we've duscussed this case. He just seems like such a particularly vulnerable person who shouldn't be left unidentified. I wish he'd be chosen for identification via DNA/geneology.

Bumping case up. I wonder if his case is ever looked at/worked-on by LE at this point.
