On December 21, 2020, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a dwelling in the 2100 block Rupp Street for a reported non-breathing person.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unresponsive individual inside the dwelling. Medics arrived and pronounced the individual deceased.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.

it's not an error; she was mostly skeletonized and weighed 35 pounds. of course, it's not very useful information, so I'm not sure why they even included that.

This unidentified female might be missing Lorton, Virginia resident -- Chanise Monet Pelican (NamUs #MP151086).

Chanise was 22 years old and approx 5'2 in height at the time of her disappearance. She was last seen in Lorton Virginia and has not been seen since August 2020. Approx 4 months before this Jane Doe was found.

There are many similarities between the two. The age, gender, race, and height all match. Additionally, the date of Chanise's disappearance also lines up with the estimated PMI of this Jane Doe.

Below is a photo of Chanise (right) and the facial recon sketch of the Unidentified for comparison review.

Lorton and Baltimore are a ~75 min drive from each other. Very similar cheekbones, nose width, nasal bridge, and jawline (ie things that would be visible on skeletal remains). Timeline is spot on. I'm on mobile so I cant check the UIDs ruleouts but if not on the list I'd say yes 100% submit a tip !!
