Match made in heaven. They looks alike, same height and both have a scar over the left eye.

Distinguishing Marks/Features:
Left eye healed abrasion/

Jerry Lee Armstrong
Scar/mark: scar over left eye

However, the circumstances don't match up. Don't think Jerry ever made it out of state.

The scar made me think it was possible...

What a tragic situation for Jerry's family...Is it possible he tried to flee? However, it seems like he would've shared that info with his family...

I wonder if LE tried to perform a nationwide VIN search of the vehicle...They may want to check bodies of water near the area to see if it was dumped there...

I relied on NAMUS on this one...I wish they provided links to the other missing persons websites in each profile...

Strange, his reconstruction has the NCMEC watermark but he's definitely not up on NCMEC website. Is it possible he was identified but NamUS has forgotten to remove his page?

Jerry’s still in NCMEC:

I'm a bit frustrated by the 'ID type bracelet' but no pictures. I'm assuming it didn't have his name, or we wouldn't be here, but what if it's actually a medic alert bracelet or something? That could be key to an identification (or a rule out). He could be diabetic, have an allergy or a heart condition, or any number of things. His cause of death is listed as unknown. It could be extremely relevant. Or, it could just be a chunky link bracelet. Without a photo it's impossible to tell.

I'm assuming they have no dna on file for Jerry to make a dna comparison. Because he should have been ruled out otherwise.

I wonder what type of ID-type bracelet the Doe had on? It's likely, that any health issues Jerry might have had, may not have been made known to LE due to HIPPA laws. So no comparison can be made that way either.

HiPPA wasn’t enacted until 1996. MedicAlert bracelets were ‘invented’ in 1956, so that could be a possibility.

I’m assuming, absent other info, that it was a blank “ID-type” bracelet, like so:
