Baltimore's Homicide Division is involved in this case. Looks like we can all guess what happened.

So I recently reached out to Joe Mullin, he's part of the ME. While he wasn't able to share exactly what happened, this is not a homicide like I thought. As for the name Emmet, it remains unclear where it came from - the file just lists it as a tentative identification. Indications are that he was fingerprinted, but the whereabouts of the fingerprint card are unknown.
