It’s important to note Maryland has a really bad track record, ME wise. I seem to recall a scandal but I can’t find the specifics now.
I was dealing with an Asian John Doe found in Maryland and it was really difficult to get a hold of somebody in MD. At one point the phone number listed on their website was actually just a fax number. It was very frustrating. I was able to speak with a detective of the mp case instead who was out in Burlingame California to see if he could look into the possible match instead since he had the MP case. He looked into it and when he called me back he explained that he had to really work hard to be able to speak to someone in Maryland. he also explained how notorious their ME office was. I had no idea.

This poor John Doe was likely another one to be mismanaged.
I think there needs to be an overhaul of some kind regarding Maryland regarding their backlog and obvious mismanagement.
For now, I’m choosing to attribute incompetence to this as opposed to malice. I hope we don’t discover any evidence suggesting otherwise.
@HopeRains I really hope you hear back with some good news. I’m quite curious.
