"I'm going to the father who loves me."

What does he mean that? IMO it seems Benjamin wanted to be with God (who's sometimes called the Father). I wonder if Benjamin decided to drive his truck into some body of water :(

From Doug Bishop's (formerly of AWP) search on this case:
Seems like a lot of work was done to try and locate him when he went missing by what Detective Jay Schline showed in these episodes.

When he was reported missing, the police department conducted an aerial search by helicopter of the surrounding area, scanned the Marinas around his home, and covered 20,000 acres from his home which was located on Southview Drive. They do not believe he crossed the Route 50 William Preston Memorial Bridge after checking records. The area they were most concerned with was the 450 Bridge, but they did not find anything there. He did not have a cell phone to track or many close friends to talk to for information which complicated efforts.

In 2022, Doug Bishop, who was at the time with sonar search group AWP, did his own scan of several locations closest to Benjamin's home including the Deep Creek boat ramp, Fairwinds Marina, Podickery Point, and Sandy Point boat ramps. He also searched the water around the Tucker Street boat ramp, Severn Inn, Naval Base, a private boat ramp north of the church, and some abandoned marinas. Detective Jay Schline worked with him and identified locations to check. An anomaly found (with Lidar I believe) near Mike's Crabhouse was ruled out.
