On February 19th 1974, Christopher James Cheezum was born in St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He was born to Elizabeth and John Ernest Cheezum. Shortly after his birth, Christopher was put up for adoption.
Four months later, Christopher was returned to his parents after it was discovered he had a heart defect. Shortly thereafter, John left Elizabeth and never saw his infant son again.
The last time anyone remembers seeing the baby was in August of 1974 when he would’ve been 5-6 months old. He was never seen again afterwards. Elizabeth did not report him missing and nearly a decade would pass before LE was notified.
Elizabeth would later be implicated in the 1982 disappearance and death of another one of her children, Michael A. “Mikey” Manning. He died after being repeatedly beaten and abused by Elizabeth’s live in boyfriend in Boulder, Colorado.
Elizabeth was offered immunity from prosecution in exchange for the location of Michael’s body so she never faced charges in his abuse or death. She has refused to divulge any information on the 1974 disappearance of her infant son.
She claims that in October 1974, she left little Christopher at John’s Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore because he was ill. However, no records exist to prove or confirm that the baby was ever admitted to the facility. No one has seen Christopher Cheezum since 1974.
