A Greenbelt, Md. couple returned from vacation to find two people lying in their bed and all of their personal property missing.

Police say that on April 5, the couple returned to their home in the 9300 block of Edmonston Road and noticed their front door was damaged and the apartment was completely empty. They located two suspects, a Black male adult and a white female, lying on a bed, which also happened to be the the only piece of furniture still in the home.

The two suspects told the couple they took all of their property and became aggressive with the victims before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

Wow! Never post your vacay pictures on the 'Net while you're still there....

Where my family lives -- many people don't put funeral notices in the paper or on-line. That was a tip-off to burglars that the house would be empty during visitation & service & internment....

Hope that hope invaders are identified & prosecuted quickly!

Outlet timers can be bought at Homedepot for $5 and with just a lamp you can make it look like your home and have it turned off and on

If saw my neighbor’s appliances outside by the road/sidewalk/etc....I’d be calling the apartment manager asking for new appliances for my unit too! Crazy.

If someone in your household loves gadgets & sets up Google Home with Google Outlets -- you can do this from anywhere that you have cell phone service or internet access, too.
