I thought this case went quiet so I just googled for an update… He plead guilty and has been sentenced! How come we haven’t heard any more? No further details. Nothing. None of the cctv footage has been released. No footage of him in court. Wtf
Thats unusual for a high profile case right?
I imagine the family might be grateful for the lack of cctv and court footage being shared with the public—why give the pathetic lowlife who murdered their loved one any publicity? Harsh though it sounds, and IMO only, about the only thing the murderer deserves is to rot in prison and die in obscurity.

True.

Was it ever determined why she was up on the roof? If I remember correctly, a ladder had to be used to access this portion of the roof. Therefore, she would have had to willing climb up, she couldn't have been forced into the roof area.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this has always made me wonder why she was there. Maybe it was a regular place to chill? If so, why hasn't it been mentioned?

Your question is a good one, and it prompted me to look back at page 6 of this thread, where some hypotheses were floated (her murderer forced her up there, perhaps by threatening her with a weapon, or used a ruse, like being a maintenance worker who needed a resident’s assistance to access equipment on the roof, to dupe her into going up there, or maybe she was moved there post-mortem). I don’t know if there has been any publicly-reported answer, though.
