Does anyone know if Judith has been ruled out?

Further through the thread, many speculated "cheerleader in the trunk" could of been Judith visually she looks like the Jane Doe and Judith's background circumstancially match the Jane Doe's, but I can't see if she's been officially ruled out?

Judith isn't listed on the Cheerleader In the Trunk's NamUs Profile as a ruleout/exclusion. The profile was last updated on 6/12/25. Judith could have been ruled out but maybe not made it on NamUs.
I just looked at Judith's profile - she currently has 18 rule outs on her end.

I have written previously about Denise Beaudin being a penitential match back in 2024. I thought this mainly because of the circumstances surrounding this case. Once his biological daughter (victim in Allenstown barrels) Rea was finally identified, there is now a new mystery about her mother, Pepper Reed. She went missing sometime between 1976-1979 and the comparison on the most recent sketch of this doe is uncanny. All the identifiers match. I have reached out to all the involved agencies. Here is Pepper’s Namus: Missing Person / NamUs #MP150118
She has a websleuth forum CA - CA - Pepper Reed, 24, California, 1976, Mother of Rea Rasmussen and Girlfriend of SK Terry Rasmussen as well and multiple people have brought up this case as a potential match. I have yet to see anyone mention it on this forum so I thought I would add it as a potential match. I know location is off a bit but TPR was traveling between New Hampshire to Tx/CA at this time and potentially was in Virginia at some point. The location of this UID was right near the route between these places.

She does look a lot like the reconstruction.

Maryland has obviously lost or misplaced the remains. I've talked to Namus, Julian, and and everyone one else., Maryland won't help so we are stuck., Its now been almost 2 years and I'm done with this. Judith's 1970's silver pics are terrible, 3/4 view usually and she plucked out her eyebrows as people did back then. However, the family did release a more modern, front digital photo of Judy's little sister. Come on folks, its was Judy in that chest. But we'll still be talking about this a hundred years from now until Maryland steps up. Richard Riesenberg: Wanted Fugitive & The Disappearance Of Judith Anne Brown

When you say lost, do you mean she's buried somewhere and they don't know where that is? Or do you mean they had her remains stored somewhere and lost track of her location?

That reminds me, I read a post about Cheerleader made by a member of our Othram Facebook group.

Someone else commented that they spoke to the detective in charge who said the state LOST the remains years ago. The NCMEC only extracted DNA from the trunk and were able to get a profile, but it was very degraded.
Maybe someday advancing DNA technology will be able to work with this degraded DNA.

I think thats the most likely way she will be identified given how fast advanced dna technology is advancing.
