CHARLES COUNTY, Md. (WJLA) — Charles County deputies say an 81-year-old man who is known to have dementia walked out of his home Tuesday and has not come back. He went outside to check the mail.
John Stacey of Nanjemoy was last seen in the area of Smith Point Road. Deputies are concerned because he lives in a rural area.
Deputies say they have extensively searched for him with drones, K9, MSP aviation and other law enforcement agencies, but have not been successful in finding him.
He was last seen wearing a blue coat, jeans and a winter hat with earmuffs. He has been described as a white male who is around 6'2" tall and weighs around 150 pounds.
